Lol,i`m so not broody, thank goodness. It`s taking me all my time to get my head around the fact i`m doing it all again,I swear jill was a breeze, never ill, never near a hozzy, always rushing here, there and everywhere,it`s just not the same atall this time for me and my bottle has went several times just lately.I`ve been like, wtf have I done?!!? Help, lol. It`s meant to be easier as you get older,i disagree,I think your bottle goes as you get older, maybe that`s just me tho!
It`s nice to hear aiden is getting used to his sister lel, just wait till she`s chasing him around stealing his toys, then the fun begins!
How is eilidh with the baby carla?
Better shoot again,byeeee x

Hi lel!!!! and Jules well i am broody too lel!!!!! Pregnancy is like and addiction!!!!!! Well i am the same as you and feel that in my heart i really know that Sam is my last baby. He has been hard work but he is now much more settled. He is nearly at the 3 month mark on the 3rd July. Whats even more frightening is the fact that the school holidays will be upon us after this week and i will be going back to school in August. My last maternity leave boo hoo
What makes it worse is i have recently found out my friend is pregnant and due in Feb and another work colleague is due her baby in November. What is wrong with me??? I need to get a grip! Is 5 children not enough????? You see what it is really is that i want another baby girl. If i could guarantee this then maybe.....even at 40......!!!!! Everyone kept asking me at work if this was my last and tbh i said yes, probably,maybe... still no contraception though! I need to remember that for 18 long years you will have to look after your children, see them through primary school, secondary and all the ups and downs. I say 18 cause thats more realistic than 16. There! thats enough to put me right off. They are not babies for long!I will post again soon. x

Hope this works, some pics of the bairns

Hope you get sorted with Maya, sounds awful but glad everyone, you too Carla, is ok as a whole. Keep us updated whether anything gets done for her the wee lamb, I'd be worried sick!! Aidan just gets a temper from hell and a sore bum when he's teething and that worries me enough.
So what is the Gina Fod method for sleeping? Aidan still gets up at 5 no matter when he goes down and Teagan is just up cos she hears him although she has her days of being first! lol Would it work on him or is he too far gone?! lol
Yes, Teagan was 6 months 10 days ago. I am SOOO broody but in my heart I know there won't be any more, well that and dp gets the snip on Thursday! lmao. Just need to pray it works cos I don't think he would do it all again for me. If they don't snip it right on Thursday I'll be going in I think.
She is a wee doll my baby girl, I am totally besotted with her. Only thing is Aidan has decided now is the time to learn to sit beside mummy and she has to concentrate on HIS books or toys and rub his feet (yes this is the new skill I have) when he is having his toast with mummy in the morning. Wee bugger that he is but he's so adorable and cuddly just now, he was never like that so enjoying him too. I feel for Tea sometimes as she sits there and doesn't make any fuss but I wish I could split myself in two some days. She gets time when he goes to bed so it's not too bad. He is finally making eye contact with her and gives her her bottle (sort of) and today he realised she is just another captive audience for him so I'm sure he'll love her sooner rather than later now. He was dancing for her earlier, she was giggling and he was in his element! Kids, who'd have them!?

Booooo
Just a quicky to say hi,I didn`t have the internet for a bit there, and there has been lots of sickness in this house, missy hasn`t been well atall and has just had viral infection after viral infection, her wee immune system has been at an all time low and it`s just one thing after another, her temp keeps flaring up too so i`m living on a knife edge, the last week i`ve been up to my eyes in runny poo and dirty washing, they have both taken rota virus and it`s not very pleasant,i`m sick phoning and visiting the doctor with maya to be told it`s viral so I stamped my feet last sunday on the phone to my hv,she arrived at work monday morning to listen to my hysterical message on her answering machine, lol poor woman, anyway I basically told her i had had enough and wanted it all investigated, maya was seen at the hospital with a 39.2 temp the week before, she keeps spiking a temp, shaking, coming out in goosbumps, asking for her mummy when it`s me that`s there, she keeps coming out in rashes and it all seems to kick off when she`s asleep,me nerves are shattered tbh.Sol`s a wee darling,he`s not well either but he sure suits his name,he`s beamed all the way through his illnesses.
I hope your all keeping well and bubs too.I will come back soon and catch up,i just got reconnected today but wouldn`t have had much time lately anyway.Gotta get my head down now before the next dirty nappy change, take care, speak soon.x

Yes, im fine lel. Was going to bump this up as it was nearly on to pg 2
!!!!!Well everything is fine. Sam is more settled. Now all i can think about is returning to work!!!!!!
Havent heard from Jules for ages and ages. Hope her kids are ok. Remember her dd wasnt very well - hope she is fully recovered now. If your on Jules - let us know how your are!
How are you lel? How is Teagan and what is she now - over 6 months???? OMG where does the time go? Sam is 3 months on the 3rd July! I will soon be out of the 0-3 months forums! He is getting really big. He still wakes up at 5am but am trying the Gina Ford routine and seeing if that helps. If not, its the blackout blinds. I cant have him up like this when i return to work. It would kill me. Its not as if i have a job that i can just sleep behind a desk!
Anyway, will try and get on more often. I tend to read more than post atm. The reason being that as soon as i take my laptop off the shelp - one of my los cries!!!!! aargh!
17/6/08 20:51
Is everyone ok?!
31/5/08 06:23
Hi Carla, glad you're still here!!
21!! I remember mine and it didn't seem 19 years ago I can tell you!
Poor Sam, is there anything they can do to help. His weight isn't affected though eh?! Teagan is 5 1/2 months and she was weighed the other day and she is 14 6! lol Aidan was huge like Sam though so she's a nice wee change for me. Yes date is set for the snip but I'm broody as hell. Every time I look at Teagan I think . . . was it really so awful, I've managed so one more wouldn't help . . . it's awful!! lol I tell myself we're lucky with what we have, Teagan was a lovely surprise (eventually!) so don't tempt fate, just be happy but, it's a struggle. Hoping it all goes away when the choice goes, ifit doesn't well . . too bad, it's too late! lol. I probably couldn't cope with 3 under 3 anyway but . . . . . . . . . NO!! no more . . . . but . . . . lmao
Glad your ds is settling so wellin uni that he misses the life and wants togo back, lol. My friend moved to Edinburgh and loves it but I've never been daft on it, maybe if I visited more often I'd like it more?
Hope you have a lovely time no matter how you celebrate the twins 21st bu remember to come on and let us know what happened!
Right better go, Aidan is demanding mummy plays, that boy is getting so sly in monopolising my time it's frightening!
30/5/08 23:33
Hi, just a quick post to say - i am stil here!!!!!! Sam has been off his milk so its been a difficult few days. Think he migh have silent reflux allthough his weigh is stable - he was weighed 3wks ago and was 13lbs 5!!!. He is now 8wks.
My ds has just come home from Edinburgh uni, so its fun and games having him home until september. Its nice having him back but its so funny how you actually get used to having thing where you left them and then he comes back and things 'miraculously' move!!!! Anyway, he misses Edinburgh life already. He cant stand Glasgow!!! He is such a snob!
My twins will be 21 on Monday!!!!!!! Yes i really now feel my 40 yrs!!!!!! They dont want a fuss though so i dont know how we will celebrate it.
Lel, i cant believe Teagan is 6 months lol. What about dh has he had the snip???or are there more babes in the pipeline!!!! I must admit i do miss my bump and the fact that i will not be pregnant again but tbh i just dont think i could cope with another baby. I would have loved another girl though.......
NO NO NO NO - its just those hormones talking lol NO MORE for me. I remember my words when i was pregnant. Why do you always get those feelings????
Anway, welcome to our thread - sorry my brain is like a sieve and i cant remember your name!!!!!!! I am Carla and have 5, yes 5 kids!!!! 3 older sons - nearly 21 and a nearly 19yr old plus my dd - 16 months and my ds who is a mere 8wks and enough to put you off having any more - poor wee soul, i love him to pieces.

Hi there, welcome to our lonely (these days) little forum. I'm Lesley and I have a boy and girl, Aidan is 22 months and Teagan is nerly 6months so not any help whatsoever with your older kids but hope you stick around an dhave a nosey in the other forums for help too.
Sorry if my typos are bad, ds has a ball pulling my keyboard apart or stuffing crisps and biscuits into it so keys don't always work as they should!!
29/5/08 13:00
hi there this is the first time that i have looked at the forums. I'm not quite sure if i'm an older mum but i'm definitly not a young mum. i like to think of myself as a young thing! I have four darling girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL. their ages range from 13yrs to 23mths so any advice on anything especially getting the older ones to join in with the youngers ones activities would be great and how to avoid them all screaming at each other.
24/5/08 14:24
Hope you are all ok!
A lot of folk have disappeared since they changed all this. Hope we are all still well and surviving.
Lesley x

Hi there!
How are we all getting on? I've discovered Facebook and unfortunately I've also discovered online games so Bounty has fallen by the wayside when I have 5 mins of PC time.
Carla, read a couple of your posts on another thread. Hope SAm's colic eases. Good he's only up once. Teagan is sleeping through, touch wood, and has been for a while now. In fact she's still asleep when Aidan gets up and she's down just an hour or two after him at night. Still don't have any bloomi' time mind you, dinner, bottles then bed. Life of a rock star we have!
Juls, how are you? How is Sol getting on? He'll be big now too, if Tea is anything to go by! lol. She looks like Jabba the Hutt sitting in her chair cos she has so many chins! She isn't even on solids yet!!
Well better go and update the rest of my Bounty Favourite pages. They don't work since they changed it!
Someone come on soon so I know you're all ok, and Carla, sounds like Sam will fit into Aidan's stuff if you're still interested, he was about that weight at that age too!!
3/5/08 11:34
Still here Carla, just like you. Get on to rread but time for a post is another matter!! How is the wee fella coming on? Yes, we've had a couple of "who will wake who up" nights, they frighten the life out of me cos I have visions of them not going back to sleep and my day beginning at 3am!!
Juls, hope you are doing ok too. Teagan has started to roll around the floor now. She's just sussed how to get back onto her back so she roly polies about the floor and only stops when she hits the wall!! lol
Better go, think she is unhappy with her nappy situation and is on the floor complaining loudly, Aidan is asleep so better sort it!
Catch up soon!!
Take care.x

HI Lel, yes contrary is the word you are looking for! Thought your dp was getting the snip lol!!!!???????
I look at my wee man now and think the time is slipping away and baby hood will soon be a distant memory. Saying that, i will be glad to see the back of the early morning rises of 5am.
....as for odd numbers, speaking from the point of view of a mum of 3 for 18yrs, odd numbers are crap as there is always someone left out and food comes in packs of 4 for a family not 5 - really really annoying. x
