Hope you are all over with soon,its horrible at the end,you just want it out egh.Best to go yourself tho,usually it happens once they threaten to take you in tho!!
I`m fine lel,been busy,had the inlaws down,my nephew has been staying here and the kids keep me on my toes,it was our anniversary the other day,i`m suprised we actually made it tbh!! That`s how things are here,lol !!!
Hope everyone else is happy and well,ali hope things are ok at your end.
Think i need some retail therapy too lel,maybe I won`t buy a car tho

I'm off out later to pick up my new car! It's a megane scenic so a lot bigger than my wee Fiesta!! Can't wait for the kids to have room in the back. I know they're in their seats but in the Fiesta it was a nightmare trying to get them in and out. I kept hitting Aidan's head on the way in then did it again once he was in the car, the poor thing was bruised every time we went out! lol
Fingers crossed Carla, hope it's soon for you!

No nothing lel!!!! Was offered a sweep today but dd has a heavy cold and thought it wasnt a great time to go into labour!
I have an induction date of the 8th April if i dont go before then so at least i have a deadline!!!!!!!! Friday is my due date!
As for twinges, have had a few but they havent come to anything!!!!! So its playing the waiting game now lol!!!!!

Well had my antenatal on Thursday and mw couldnt tell which way baby was and since i only have 1 week to go, she thought a scan was in order.
I am pleased to say that, after having my scan yesterday, that head is down - thank god!!!!!! So only 6 days until due date. Still no signs or twinges. So sure i will go over due. I am getting tired of going out now and everyone looking at me with sympathy or fear - as if i am going to pop at any minute!!!!! And as for rolling over in bed OMG could it get any worse????
Soon girls soon - at least baby will be here in at least 16 days [ date for induction would be max of 10 days over according to mw!] Cant imagine being like this for 16 days though.......
Hope everyone and their babies are doing well. Its cold today - glad i am in!!!!!!

Glad all the tests were fine in the end Carla. They sure know how to upset you, medical folk, don't they! Can't believe you're nearly there! Think it was about now in both of my pg that it hit home I had to get this baby out and I went into panic mode, laughing thinking about it now but I remember it well! lmao.
Juls, I read your post the other day so not too fresh in my memory but did you say somethig about Maya being a walking disaster? Aidan has those days and I worry in case we need to go to the hospital. His fave sport at the moment is walking into door frames face first! Thought he had cracked his cheek bone but he seems fine, this time! Ff Sol sounds like the better idea! lol Aidan was like that, nothing filled him up. He was on baby rice at 13 wks if I remember rightly and I gave up with bf at 7 wks with him cos he was constant!! So you have my sympathies having a very hungry boy, I know what it's like, lol.
Berret shoot, Tank Girl is looking for company and Aidan is about to drool all over the pc!

not sure excited is the word for it......maybe s*** scared is closer to it ha ha!!!!!!
got a bit p***ed off today as i had some blood tests done for my liver function following a little bit of itchiness on my hands and feet and when i phoned the lady said my tests were a bit 'raised' and to make an appointment on thursday to discuss the results.
i was a bit shocked as it was a test for oc which can be a serious liver condition. i was peeved that they were just leaving me until thursday, cause as you know, i only have 10 days to go.
i kind of panicked for a while and then i phoned back and the lady who gave me the lab results said she would ask the doctor and would get back to me. 10 mins later the doc phoned me back and said it was a 'mistake'!!!! [ not that they admitted to that but thats basically what they were saying] they said that the test results would be abnormal if i wasnt pregnant, but would be fine cause i am pregnant [certain changes to liver function are normal in pregnancy] and she had just been off the phone to the queen mums to check this.
thanks docs!!! i was just out of my mind for an hour then for no real reason. aaaaargh!!!!! did i really need that kind of stress at 38 + 4???????
well if labour comes on tonight, i know who is to blame!

Oh Carla just 10days now,if you go to your date.....!!!Are you excited then?Have you both decided on a name for the new baby?
Looking at Sol,you`d never think he was just 16weeks,he`s a bruiser and onto the spoonful of baby rice in the afternoon and lel,he`s been on ff during the day for over a week now,i just don`t have enough to satisfy him,he empties me and then downs a 6/7 oz bottle!! He`s off to get weighed this morning and missy is coming too,she`s got my nerves shattered,she keeps banging into things or tripping up and looked like a battered child over the weekend,so much so if i`d had to take her to hozzy,i`d have been investigated!!
!I need to discuss it with the HV,she`s going to do herself some damage if she doesn`t slow down.She had a black eye,bruised forehead,bruised head and ear and nearly knocked her teeth out all in the space of 3days..
Ali hope you`re hanging in there.

Don't ask what I was thinking! I knew you had stopped I knew your date but I was thinking we had loads of March to go! lol I'm losing it big time I really am!
People did that to me with Aidan, I was huge and they used to look at me with pity when I said I had 8 wks to go and stuff. I wasn't bothered cos he was my first but with Tea I just wanted her out! lmao. You'll be fine, maybe it's a lot of fluid? Good to hear ou were a help for the student having a BH and all, bet they were glad you came in that day, lol
Well Teagan was up again 3 times last night. I'm seriously thinking of the ff route during the day now and just bf during the night. She's just a monster and I had to lie in bed last night with one of my nips out cos it was stinging like mad! She still doesn't always latch on properly and I still hurt sometimes but with her feeding so much it's a nightmare.
Right, keep us posted Carla now I am up to speed with the fact you have probably less than 2 wks to go. Hope all goes well, which it will of course. It's wonderful giving birth! Aye right!! lmao

Oh Carla, you have my sympathy, sometimes its better not to know whats in store! But you will get thru and have your little bundle of joy and sleepless nights, so its all worth it in the end.

Yes, just couldnt sleep so am up before the sun this morning lol!!!!!
MW appointment was fine. She had a student in with her so i guess i was the guinea pig!!!!!! The student mw had a little feel of bump and she said she thought baby was in a 'funny position'. I was then informed by the actual mw that, basically my muscles had given up the ghost and that why it was so awkward for others to feel where baby is lying. She says the baby is head down. She said she can feel it but its not engaged, which does not surprise me. Eilidh was not really engaged either and tbh dont really expect it with a 4th pregnancy [ 5th baby].
She looked at my bump and mentioned how big i was!!!!!!!!
I though OMG i am going to have to push this bubs out Can i change my mind??? i dont want to go through labour now!!!!!!!!! Please tell me its not too late!Anyway i had the most enormous bh contraction, so much so, that i felt like an exhibit when the mw said to the student, Now this is a bh contracction - ooooooh now feel that tightening, look you can actually see how that is tightening up........bla ba bla.
Anyway, she was talking about my date [ 28th March] and she said tbh i think your uterus is quite irritable [ i thought yes, it bloody well is after the prodding youve given it lol!!!!] and she said that she felt that ' i would go before my due date and would place bets on it.' so watch this space.
Anyway, that was Thursday and i'm still here so i guess we will just have to wait and see. Did set panick in though. Everytime i go out i think - OMG my waters could break at any moment. Even a shop assistant looked at me sympathetically [ and with disbelief] when i told her i still had 2 wks to go.
I'll keep you updated with my progress. Have a couple of bump buddies in DIM that keep you updated if things happen and you dont hear me SCREAM from the computer when my waters break or on my first contraction.
OMFG i think i am going to cry at the thought.............

Well new laptops, labour bags, crappy families . . . . . I feel at home! lol
Hope you're all well. Meds haven't kicked in yet but the side effects are. Dry mouth (well dry everything!)
, clenching teeth . . forgotten about all these things.Well nothing exciting here. Dp stil not got a job so a bit strained but I'm glad cos it means he's here with me! Teagan coming on a treat. We just call her Tank Girl or Baw Heid now, sorry but no way round it, she's huge but only her head and tummy, the rest is still all dainty, wee toes and feet and long piano fingers, wee skinny arm and legs, nae neck nd a bawheid! lmao But I love her to pieces and would kill for her! Took me about this long just to get used to Aidan, we bonded a lot later. Weird that but hey at least it happened.
So Carla, how did it go at the mw, has bubs moved again or ready to roll? Hope she/he is where she/he should be and you dont need the X Files torch up your kilt.
Better go get some dishes done then get Tank to bed, she' s started to fall asleep about 8 now but she's up at 3/4.30/6/7 for a feed!! Not happening!! Need to be having a word, all the hv says is "growth spurt". The girl shoudl be wearing my clothes the amunt of them she's meant to have had!! Anyhoo, hope you're all having fun, praying for better weather, and better behaved kids if you have anything like Aidan! He's a gem but there's mischief in them there eyes!! lol

Hi all, its true, wee Noah is the ONLY thing keeping me sane... hormonal ds1, cheeky devil ds2, dh with a couch welded to his backside and a remote welded to his hand, doolally mother, father with his head firmly in the sand. and no pc for days.
Moan over.. I am trying to catch up on everthing, I take it no new arrival yet!...

Noooooooooooooooos!!!! I will never be ready for labour loL!!!!! Its such a scary thought. I have my bags packed etc etc but will never be mentally prepared for it!!! Have mw tomorrow. Baby has been moving loads so doubt s/he is engaged, infact i wouldnt be surprised if she told me that baby was in a strange position again.
Anyway, thats me 37 + 5 and no swelling at all??????? I have had swelling with all my pregnancies. So strange. Anyway, will keep you updated.
Get my new PINK laptop tomorrow yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! This one is on its way out. Screen is knackered.

I went shopping yesterday and spent a small fortune,i never treat myself so I took my eldest dd,maya and we hit the town,we had a nice day out and got lots of new clothes to wear! I shouldn`t be spending on jill though,it`s her 18th next month and i`m getting her 10 lessons and her provisional licence,she`s spoilt rotten that 1........
Better shoot,gotta get the dog out and i`m not even dressed yet

I`m knackered,I tailed my parents to my sisters in west calder today with the kids,I didn`t want to make such a long journey on my own with them and as my parent w ere going anyway,i just followed in my car.It was a nice day out but i`m tired after driving 4hrs.within 5mins of arriving Maya was covered in muck from head to toe,they live in a lodge house in the country,so you can imagine what the garden was like after all the rain.Mucky pup is an understatement!!! I`d intended to take a change of clothes for her but had forgotten,luckily my sis has a dd just a couple of yrs older than maya,but not much taller so she had something clean to change into.
Hope everyone`s as good as can be,i`m off for something to eat,i`m starving.

Teagan only goes about once every 4-6 days and hv said same. As long as nappies are wet it's ok.
Just on to say that, away to try and drain some milk for missy later on!
....................................and still here lol!!!!!!!
Still no twinges, no show!!!!!!! I know i will be over due. i knew it from the very beginnning when i had my scan. I had worked out my due date to be anywhere between the 30th - 1st April, so we will see.
I will keep in touch! x
