surely thats now your dd 6wks lel????? no way!!!!! did i read it wrong...she cant possibly be! if teagan is that old - how old is sol!!!!!!!

today was another of those days that id wished id phoned in sick to school. the kids were all annoying each other and i couldnt even get on with helping some other children in art without others launching crayons at their class mates*sigh* . enough was enough when one hit me on the head! - i stopped everyone and threatened lunch time detention. needless to say, noone dared to put one foot wrong after that but it has left me really down. i really do get quite p***ed off with my job sometimes. anyway, been in this game long enough to know that tomorrow is another day and just to move on.

yes lel, glad to see you are counting for me!!!!!!! think it might be 17 days after today though and 15 after friday - i cant even count now

its eilidh's birthday on tuesday. havent really bought her anything yet and dont believe in parties for babies but prob will have a birthday tea to mark her turning one!!!! yes where has the time flown!!!!!! cant believe this time last year i was almost giving birth to her, and even stranger this year that i am pregnant looking back on the time i gave birth lol!!!

anyway, enough blabbering on. hope everyone is good.  x carla x

Sling is back in it's wee bag, lol.  I'll give it another go at the weekend when dp can help me.

Go Sol!!  Reliefe when they pass all their wee things isn't it.  He sounds as if being early hasn't phased him one bit!  And good to hear Maya is still the same!lol  Aidan on the other hand still hates Teagan.  Still cries when she cries, wont touch her, wont go near her (which might be a good thing)in any shape or form and now he is pulling me away from her.  I was in tears yesterday, just dont see him getting used to her at all.  Don't know what to do!  And that's been dp off 4 wks out of 6 of her being here.  Suffice to say I'm not coping with this 2 baby lark.  Doc tomorrow for our check so no doubt I'll tell them about it (again) and see if they will prescribe something to buck me up so at least I'm fit for the onslaught every day.

    Keep you posted

    17 days to go Carla!!

My baby is so big already!  It's not fair!!

    No, no more!! lmao

Hiya, just flying through,I`m hoping to get to bed before the birds get up in the morning, lol!

Lel I told you the buggy boards are great, best thing i`ve spent my money on in ages, the carriers are good for walks in the country, that`s what we use ours for,Yeh I know what you mean about the sling,it`s a knack I think,i didn`t fancy one but have dutch friends that wouldn`t have been without their slings.

Sol had his medical today and passed with flying colours, maya came with us and kept everyone on their toes...I was stripping off my  jumper by the time I was leaving the surgery, stresssss!

Hope everyones ok,i`m off for a nosey before I hit the sack, sweetdreams.

You've been there done that Carla so don't stress.  You and the baby are what's important here.  But hey, you know that.  Yes, dp went back to work today and I've had a knot in my stomach since Sat about it.  There were moments, thats all I'm saying, but I'm here and alive. Only had half a bar (the big one) of Dairy Milk with Caramel today though, so guess that's not so good eh?  Teagan has been either in my arms or on my boob since half 9 this morning!  Good luck with the inspectors when they come.  Hope your job share has it all under control!? lol

Am I allowed to offload still like Ali?  Or have I used my quota up? lol. Yep, we're here as you say Juls.  Weird as it sounds, and maybe its just me but, I feel a bit better knowing I'm not alone in this hellhole of a life.  Lets you get things into perspective in your own.  Juls, Aidan was 18 months yesterday, and still hates his sis!  Got a front baby carrier thingy type and mum bought me a sling one cos I was talking about getting it, (surprise gift).  Not tried the sling one yet, seems a bit awkward so need to read up on it but the carrier one went round Morrisons the other day and it was a godsend!  And the buggy board has had 2 outings so far, yesterday and today, and he loves it, he was sqealing going down the hill at all the cars and the wind in his face.  I was a lovely sight!  He looked so happy!  I've driven to Irvine before (dp has friends there) but not on my own, I panic when I'm alone in the car and don't know where I  am so don't go too far yet.  I wouldn't be brave enough with 2 kids in the car in case I got lost and they were screaming their heads off!  Some day soon maybe . . . . Close call with the guns!?  Dp would have hunted them down!  You wonder though about not allowing them as toys.  They were the done things years ago weren't they but now it seems they all want real ones!  Hope all is well and sorted about it anyway.

Ali, hope no 2 son is ok after doc has a look.  Is ds3 better now?  Have they decided whether he has asthma or what?  I only discovered this time round bf that there is such a thing as bf jaundice.  Never heard about it before.  I think they make it up as they go these health professionals!

Sorry about spelling etc, typed it with one hand as madam had yet another feast. I cant believe this may be another growth spurt!  My boobs can't keep up!  Well, the left one can . . . . .

OMG, some parents just dont give a hoot! Glad the dog was okay, dh would freak if anything happened to sparks, thats his baby! Thanks for the kind words, you know what I mean tho, I will try to think happy thoughts!

Carla, inspections are awful, even if you know you are doing all you should you still feel nervous!

I am now on the supply list, worked once and since all the recent family stuff have had to turn down 6 jobs, I feel rotten saying I cant go, but with hospital visiting, docs appointments and limited childcare its impossible.

Got doctor with ds2 today, hes been really rundown since well before christmas, wheezy more than usual, ecema flared up, pale, tired just not right so hes going for a check up. Then back to school , much to his disgust.

    Evening girls.

Aww Ali,sorry to hear things are going that way for you and your family just now. What you talking about, not wanting to put a downer on things or words to that effect, you know something? Don`t be a stranger and don`t think it`s all sunshine and roses here either, sometimes it`s good to get things off your chest, your not bursting anyones bubble and that`s what were here for aswell, not just the good times.OK.....

Carla 18days! That`s nothing, you`ll be off on mat leave before you know it and then your nervous breakdown will kick in,because of all the free time you`ll have to think about having 2 under 2,pmsl!

Lel,what age is aiden again?I`ve forgotten-sorry i`ve got a really bad memory. So is your sling a sling you wear in the house too,or is it just for getting about outside? How did the buggy board ride go? I bet he had a great time, maya`s always asking to go for a ride on hers.Braehead sounds abit out of my way for a coffee lel,lol I`m down the coast in girvan, but if you wanna make it down to irvine sometime, that`s probably about half way.I would do braehead usually but don`t fancy that journey with 2 kids on my todd.I`m not sure when he`s off yet tho but i`ll keep you posted. Can`t remember if you said you don`t drive very far tho?!

I had the armed response called out today, some wee numpty took a couple of pot shots @ my dog and I didn`t know if it was an airgun,bb gun,or what the hell it was,i was feeding the swans round the harbour with maya,i`m sure the wee gits were after the swans but I was there so they shot @ the dog instead, luckily they missed her but........Grrrrrrrr

Why do parents think it`s ok for their sons to play with guns?I am sooooooo against them and sol will NEVER have one, pretend or not.I can`t abide them, those and knives,Jeez look @ what some schools are resorting too now aswell, installing metal detectors to catch the knife carriers,it`s a scary world we  live in these days.Bet your glad you`ve got the p1s carla, lol.

ok `m off to bed, catch you soon ladies.x

you know what its like. you want it over with but its the process that you have to go through that scares  you s***less!!!!!

yes, only 9wks and 4 days, 30mins to go!!!!!!! - chances are it will be over due. glad everything sounds like its going good lel and you are actually getting out!!!!! i think i will be like you, the panic will set in after dh paternity leave!!!!!!!! it will be fun and games to get a newborn out and a 14 month old!!!!!! at least it will be warmer weather and maybe the need to carry less crap will help!!!

nothing much more to say. only 6 weeks left of work and that means 18 days really!!!! its a pity this is going to be the most stressfull i have been at work  over the last few years, since the inspectors are coming out in the next couple of weeks. i have started to worry about it already.

anyway, need to think of myself and baby and if it gets too much i am going to the docs.

    really need my bed now.

    chat soon. carla x

Hi there.... hope you are all doing well, havent posted here in ages. Really didnt want to moan at you all when you have such nice things going on. I keep up with Lel elsewhere, so she knows how much misery I am spreading right now. Anyway not long to go now Carla, bet you cant wait!

News here is mil had a stroke on christmas day, not great and progress is real slow. But shes still with us and fighting hard. My mum got her diagnosis, its the early stage of alzhiemers, shes not really accepting it, infact shes pretending she doesnt have it. Just as well I was ther when doc. told her!

I will try to catch up with all your posts..... if only these darn kids would give me peace!

    Hi ladies!

Well tried the sling and it was braw!  Shopping was a breeze!  Well it will be when I get the fit just right but it was so much easier.  In saying that dp was with me so had the trolley and Aidan.  Not sure about packing bags with it on!?

Off out later, weather permitting, for a shot of the buggy board.  Sure he'll love it.  Bloody hope so!!  I'll let you know how it goes.  If I'm never back on, you know it didn't go well, lmao

    Evening all.

My first reaction is OMG, 10 wks to go !!!  Flying in is not the word for it!  Mind you, Teagan is now 5 wks (nearly 6) and I can't believe it.  I'm not managing too well at themo.  Dp been off all wk so I'm back to the begining next week, starting from scratch, wondering if I can manage.  It's not helped that Aidan is being the boy from hell at the mo.  Don't know if it's his age or his teth or just him!  All I know is it's hard!!  Doc will be getting the script pad out when I go for my check up on Thurs.  Slippery slope to oblivion I'm on, I can feel it.

Juls, got the buggy board and a carrier.  Not been out yet but tried the bb in the house and Aidan loves it!!  Hopefuly this crazy wind will die down and the rain will go off and we can try it out tomorrow!  Glad you've sussed the nighttime stuff.  Teagan has been great at night.  We're giving her a bottle (my milk) at night too before bed, seems to keep her going for that wee bit longer.  Just struggling to find time to express in the first place!  Glad you got the dog back, you always sounded as though you just missed her too much, even though you saw her all the time.

Off again, Teagan has just had a bath and all the excitement seems to have emptied her tummy!

Morning all,I think i`ve cracked it! If I bath sol about 10pm after feeding him and top him up with 2oz of ebm,he`s sleeping right through till about 5-6am woooo hooooo! That`s been the past 3nights anyway and i`m hoping it`s not a fluke, saying that-I was expressing @ 2am this morning so am I defeating the purpose?! lol

The weather is rotten here,i`m just about to don my waterproofs and hoof it with my dog,did I tell you she was back?Jill had left her in on her own and she howled so much her neighbour told me,so I went and took her back,i`d told them if they were going to be out any longer than 2hrs,she was to come here, did they listen? Nope......The thought of my wee dog so distressed broke my heart.

What`s happening in your world then?

Are you managing lel,dh is going away for 5 days soon.aaaaggghhh that`ll be me on my todd with the 2 of them....Not looking forward to that one.

Best get mutt out, catch you all soon.x

No, i think i might struggle unless i can get them syncronised. Think going to work might be a blessing ha ha!!!!! There is no doubt that it is hard work. I cant imagine getting out lol!!! - i think the key is to take it one step at a time. I do worry about it.

Another one lel!!!!! mmmm you might change your mind!!!!!!  I just dont want to have 3 children basically - again. Two is more than enough to handle and i dont have time to have another one later so there is no way i am having another close in age lol!!!! I think we would both be mad lel to even consider it - although your ds will be older so maybe more of a chance for you!!!!

Fed up with work!!! Not great as its only going to get harder until i go on mat leave. Nearly 10 wks to go til i have this baby OMG!!!! NOW THATS SCARY!

Ordered the buggy board Juls, should be here in a couple of weeks, hopefully sooner!  I'll give it a go, what the hell.  Just means I've no excue for walks now

Pregnant again?! lmao.  Dp would have me up at the pope for a meeting if I said that! Miracle baby that would be.  Not getting near til it's safe!!  We discussed the snip again and he said he wants another before it's final.  Well, that'll either be with somene else or he "grows" it out the back door!!  My body doesn't "do" pg very well as you allknow and not going there again!  Not now that this years birthday is the big one!  Think it would give up!

Carla, I hope you're in a better frame of mind than me with having two so close together!  I'm not doing well at all.  I get there but I feel like I'm just and no more.  Plus my mum or neighbour is normally about and dp has been off this week (again) so not really been alone and I'm terrified of being left!!  Need to do it for more than a few days at a time eventually but hoping Teagan will be about 3 by then!

    Afternoon girls,how`s everyone?

Did you get your buggy board lel?Yeh our car`s due an mot next month too.Ouch bet it`s going to cost a penny or two,i`ve got a rattling sound when I turn the wheels to go round corners You`ll probably find you`ll use it for walks and nipping down to the shops more than anything,I`ve yet to attempt the high street of ayr!

The weather`s minging here today,it was nice earlier,i had my pn checkup, all`s well there and I told dh I was expecting again after it   I couldn`t resist and his reaction was classic, well worth the noise up! Like I`d be so mad so soon!

Hope your all good, back to work for you tomorrow carla! Are you still counting?!lol It won`t be long, like lel says,it`s flying through for us,except @ 2am and 4am and 5am and 7am then the wee horrors usually sleep till 11am! But well worth it

    Morning!

Just a wee post (I think) to say hi.

Juls, dp's boss says she thinks she has a buggy board she can give us so hopefully she'll remember it!  I think I am going to get one anyway and also get a sling for madam.  The only thing with the buggy board is that I never use the pram cos I'm in the car but don't think the wee thing will pass it's mot come April so might need to start hoofing it again.

Hope Maya is on the mend.  Teagan has the cold too the wee pet and she keeps setting off the bloody sensor alarm!!  Heart attack mode every 5 mins with that girl!!  Hope it's just the cold that's making her do it and she's not too lazy to breath the way she is when feeding.  That's why she's so bad with clic and general wind, she just wont latch on properly and gets really windy but will she part with it?!  Will she heck!!  Sounds like you don't have any problems with Sol! lol  Aidan was the exact same, if you give me milk, I'll drink it!! lmao  He ended up early on solids cos he was a wee grubber as well.  And I was knackered with him too, always feeding, always awake.  So please know I am sitting here knowing exactly how you feel and you have my sympathy.

OMG Carla, it's nearly the middle of Jan already!  Teagan was a month old on Saturday and it's flying in for you!!  Well time wise for us it is so hope it is for you too.  I know folk would say that to me and I'd think well actually every day takes forever cos I'm in agony so p**s off!! lmao.  Was reading the teacher strike thread on debates.  Will that affect you to or is it just English?  DOn't mean to be personal (what with union and do you agree blah blah) just wondered if it will affect up here.  I remember the last one cos my friend was in a tizzy trying to get child care so she could work but from what I read you'd be justified in walking out!  Would eat up your days too till D Day!

So much for a short post!  I better go throw this coffee down my throat before madam awakes. Bed at midnight (up late cos her colic is a nightmare) but she slept til 6ish so that was good, and she fed then promptly went back to sleep!  Yesterday dp letme lie on with her so I fed her then went back under the duvet to sleep but would she go back over, no!  But today, she's snoring like a jakey! lol

Good morning, believe it or not,i`m pc illiterate so haven`t a clue how to  resize my pics Carla! I`ve tried to put several of sol on and they are too big.I use windows photothingy and haven`t sussed it out yet,i`m too scared to press buttons incase i lose any.I should try tho.I haven`t got any new ones on my profile,i hardly get time to come on and catch up,never mind upload pics! I took that one yesterday in his carseat,it`s a bit dark tho and his dummy is stuck in his mouth,i thought my boob would offend you all!lol

Lel lucky you,I wish Sol would sleep that long! I am exhausted and during the night I growl @ dp if he so much as says a word to me.Tired is an understatement!Maya has now got the cold so getting some peace from her today looks like a no-no too, she`s been putting dvd after dvd into the machine and won`t take a telling.Aaaaggghhhh, think i`ll wrap her up and take her out for some fresh air soon.

Buggy board Lel,get yourself one, they are great and tbh,it`s fun for them riding on it,not like a buggy atall, just make sure you`ve got his reins on too.Maya loves hers and what a difference it makes,if he tires easily, just try and juggle the time you need to be out,to fit around his naps.

Dinner is always late here, never before 7 but maya doesn`t go to bed till 9ish,she still needs a sleep in the afternoon, usually late afternoon so that`s her early night out the window,it doesn`t bother us tho, daddy usually spends the hour or so before bedtime doing jigsaws and being a horse or camel,or something equally as stupid with her, lol.

I thought you were going to express the other day?! Did teagan decide to have it instead?!lol, usually my boy has the same thought. It`s trial and error, some peeps express the same time every day,I just do it as and when I need to get rid of some,it`s not an everyday thing for me.I usually do both of them though, the more you take out,the more you`re supposed to produce, sometimes I have to give him whats in the fridge inbetween feeds, just some days tho,he scoffs the lot usually and always feeds off both sides!Im` telling you no lie,He is a GRUBBER.

Anyway I`d best be off, maya has gone back to bed, looks like our walk is out the window, poor soul`s as white as a sheet and my boy`s needing ............................fed!

    Speak soon girls x

Carla, I resize my photo using photoshop, not sure if there is another way to do it.

And as to your jobshare wummin!?!?!  I'd have to kill her!  I HATE and I mean HATE (ocd type thing) people moving my stuff or it not being where it should be so I would be screaming my head off at her! lol  I used to get slated at work cos they would move things on my desk (by about an inch) just to see if I noticed then sit back and laugh when I did.  Freaks me out!!  And you're not away yet!!!  Stealing your grave there eh!!

Dinner is bout that time in here too.  It was a bit pants when I was pregnant cos I'd be eating after Aidan went down and dp came in from work then going to bed about 9!  No surprise I had indigestion!  Before dp changed jobs he was in a bit earlier so when Aidan went down at 6 I'd start dinner and that would be us sitting down to it about 6.30/7 which was a bit better but now I'm welded to the couch with Teagan cos she feeds off and on (mostly on) from the minute Aidan is down til she goes to bed about half 10.  I'm tired but not half as much as I thought I would be.  Missy went down at 10.30 last night then didn't get up for a feed til half 4 then went back down and got up at half 9 so not complaining!!  Well would be better if Aidan would sleep that late then I could say I was in bed til 9.30 but alas, I was up at 6.30.  Oh well.

Hi every one. Well work wass mmmmm work! Its amazing but you only really realise the stress you are put under when you are actually away from it.  I mean its not the kids so much sometimes as it is the damn paperwork like planning. It doesnt help when the person you jobshare with comes in and rearranges the class, taking the desk away. She does ask first but does it in my time and it was just a bloody mess everywhere. You know what its like when someone comes in and moves your stuff.  She said that i was only here for a short time now - so that doesnt matter then!!!!! What would happen if i took that attitude with the kids?

I have felt really tired this week and my head hurts a little today and yesterday. Like you lel, i am prone to headaches [ thank god not migraines] but pregnancy has given them the old heave ho! [or so i though]. Its hard cause when i come home from work, dh goes to his and its difficult getting that extra energy to get dd to bed and then make dinner. The average time for dinner in this house is 7:30, which is a bit late really.

Think we have had some snow and by the look of the sky, we might be in for some more. It is pure white! when i was pregnant with Eilidh last January, we had a few slippy days. It is really scary and the thing is, the more tense you make your legs, the more chance you have of slipping!!!!!!

As for the days left, well yes thats three days knocked off. Havent gone to my fridge to cross them out but think its 21 working days over a 7 week period aaaaaaaaaargh. It will sound better after next week when its only 6 weeks!!!!!

Anyway, feel i deserve a lazy day!!!!! Going to totally chill out and relax. Hopefully going for the new pram tomorrow. I am getting excited now about getting it!!!!! Cant wait to try it out! Actually both of you having bubs has made me feel quite excited about having mine now!!!!  In a way, i will feel sad to end my pregnancy but what the hell, my new next directory came yesterday and there are so many nice clothes i think i will be giving myself a make over when this baby is born!!!!!! Cant wait, but i know it will upset me when bump is gone, if last time is anything to go by.

I dont mind anyone calling me by my  name - so thats fine!!!!! Charlie was plucked out of the air as Carla was already taken as a knickname. Can anyone tell me how to reduce the photo size to make it work on your avatar? Everytime i try, it says the file it too big. Thanks. Carla x

Juls, Sol looks lovely!! He sure looks as though he enjoys eating! lol  Never a bad sign though, only for you when he's latched on what feels like 24/7, lol.  I haven't expressed yet, never sure the best time to do it or what side.  Any suggestions?  Sounds like you had a good day.  We've only been shopping, 5 mins down the road.  Not looking forward to having a full day out on my own with them both, not sure I'll manage!  Don't know whether to buy a sling for Teagan or a buggy board for aidan.  He'sstill a bit young for one but he hates the buggy so not buying a double, it would be a waste.  Thanks for the Teagan comments. Did you see her pics in my profile?  I never think to look at profiles on here!  Have you more on of Sol.  I'll go look now I've thought about it!

Carla (I'll take a leaf out of Juls' book) how many days is that now, 3 off the countdown eh!  Are you excited or just want it all to hurry up? DOn't envy you having to go out to work in this weather when pg.  It's scary when it's slippy incase you fall.  I was lucky cos it wasn't a bad winter when ph with Aidanthen of course Teagan was born in winter so escaped again.  I know my cousin took forever to get anywhere cos she walked so slow just in case! lol

ALi, hope all is fine and dandy your neck of the woods.

Off for a coffee and shut my eyes for 30 secs, got a migraine and it's bloody sore!  Forgot what they were like, I don't take them when pg so had a wee reprieve for a while.

    Catch you all soon.x
