Just thought i'd let you all know i had my baby boy, a little early. on 23rd july. He arrived very quickly and was born at 00.10, weighing in at 7lb 4oz.

He wasabit grunty at birth, i think because of his speedy arrival, and had to be put in a heated cot, but he is fine now and making his presence felt at home! We are calling him Quinn.

I have to inject for 6 weeks after delivery, so only 4 and a bit weeks to go. Thank goodness.

Good luck to you all, Kelly x

    Hi hun,

I am having a elective sections I had one last time, I did ask about being induced but they wont due to the risk of scar rupture. They said they will let me go in to labour naturally but I was not happy with the thought of it because once you have had a previous section you have a 40% chance of needing another. The problem with that is I would of taken my clexane and would need to go under general anesthetic ,which means i would miss baby being born which is something I don't want to risk. Good luck getting your induction hun. Tc Emma

I don't bruise all the time either, sometimes it just leaves a rest dot. If it bleeds it generally always bruises then. I find that by putting the needle in slowly rather than jabbing it in too quickly helps, I was in hospital for a few days back in May and when the nurses injected me I had the worst bruising ever because they jabbed it in so hard and quickly!

I have a scan on Monday - I will be 29 weeks and i'm seeing the consultant as well( an all morning job in the hospital!) I'm going to discuss about being induced as I feel I should stop the anticoagulant at least 24 hours before the birth rather than taking my chances.. what are everyone elses plans for the birth?

    Hi everyone,

Faye good luck with the scan I have everything crossed for you and your oh, you might be able to relax a little hun once you get past that point. Lots of to you.

Sue hun, I dont bruise all the time I have found though with my last preagnacy I did not bruise hardley ever, but the futher on I get with this one the more I bruise. I have also found a tiny knock or a bang gives me a good bruise now to when I never normally bruise when I am not on clexane. Hope all you other girls are well? Emmaxx

    Hi Everyone,

    Hope you're all well?

Sue, I only get a bruise about 75% of the time. The rest of the time its just a dot where the needle goes in, so don't worry about it too much. I also bruise less if I inject slowly.

I've got my next scan on Wednesday next week (should be 8+3 all being well). Also see the obs/ gynae doctor straight afterwards for the first time. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. If the baby is OK at that time, it'll be the furthest I've ever made it

This may sound insane, but im concerned as I never bruise from the injections. It is making me wonder if I am doing it correctly, as I wasnt shown this time round (and havent done it for 4 years). You cant even tell where the needle went in.......perhaps I have more padding than everyone else.!

Im not even sure if im doing it in the right place, I will ask my midwife when I eventually get to see her, as they dont book you in where I live until you are 15 weeks, and im only 12+5.

    hi everyone,

hope you're all well, and your bruises are not too bad.

my dreams seem to have eased off a bit at the moment, but i have turned into a total b***, and poor df can't do anything right

got a massive bruise yesterday too, needle went in a bit squiffy.

seeing the midwife for booking in this afternoon, and she'll book my 12 week scan, so thats something to look forward to.

    take care everyone

    HI Girls,

    Hope your all well.

I've had some odd dreams too hon, don't worry, I think its those crazy hormones!!

I'm on 60mg of Clexane a day at the moment, but they may up to 80mg when I get back from hols, depends on my blood tests. If your worried though ask the docs / MW wife its a high dose.

Must dash, manic day at work and am off home!

Off on hols for two weeks so will catch up when i get back.

Take care all, wishing you all a good couple of weeks

    Morning Ladies,

Slightly O/T I know, but is it normal to have horrendous nightmares in early pregnancy?

I dreamt that I was m/c again for the last 2 nights, and its really stressing me out

Trouble was that it was so real I woke up sobbing, eventually fell asleep again, just to have the same dream again.

Still have all the symptoms, and another scan in a week and a half, so hopeing its all OK.

Hope everyone else is well, and have a lovely weekend.

hi, just to answer your question; when i was on clexane, i was on 20mg. apparently it depends on your BMI. im around 9 1.5 stone........But yeah i know people whom were on 40mg, so wondered why i was only on 20.

    xx

    Hi everyone,

Faye it must of been so good for you and the oh seeing your little bean on your scan I am so happy for you.

Melly really glad your feeling better hun. Let us all know how your appointments go. Hope all the other girls on here are well to.

Well I had a growth scan today and was quiet shocked to be told they think my little man is going to be on the large side. I have never had this before my babies are normally very small my dd who was full term was only 5 13llb so compared with her we should have a whopper. I have another growth scan in 2wk but dont really think I need to worry like i have in previous pregnancies I think i can now finally relaxs and enjoy my pregnancy
