thank you, ive just been googleing what it means, do sort ov understand now, n hopefully will find out more at next scan,

sorry to be personal but how as is affected your son if in any way it has. no probs if you prefer not too say only was wonddering more to the future n what sort of life baby can/will lead

Doliocephalic means the head and face is a certain shape, and together with growth retardation can be an indicator of a chromosome disorder, (which happened in my sons case)  but often these things correct themselves.  Hopefully the doctor is just keeping an eye on things to make sure all turns out well

hiya chcik in my first pregnancy (dont remember figure as a bit of blur TBH) they were concerned about my DD being small from about 5 mths and when theyd induced me ( due to pre eclampsia) they brought in an incubator as they were very worried about her size etc but luckily she was fine weighing in at 7lbs 7oz and they'd expected her to only be about 4-5lbs x so sometimes they get it wrong but just let them look after you and keep a check if you previous babis were smaller than average (not sure what that is) they may just be keeping an eye on you x Good luck chick x x

hiya ladies, iv been for a groth(sp?) scan today as baby was measuring small at my 20 wk scan, its now been 6 weeks n baby as grown a little but consultaint saying she is very small esspecialy BPD and HC which are just below 5th centile, iv gotta go bk nxt tuesday for a more detailed scan and see were we go from there. here are my measurements:

BPD 57.7

HC 228.4

AC 206.1

FL 48.7

also says fetal head doliocephalic any ideas on what this means or anyone with the same?

not too sure how small compared to others she is any advice would be very much aprechiated, this is ma 3rd pregnancy n ma ds n dd were both full term weighing 5lb 13
