hi there my baby to was found to have calcification a calcium mark in the heart and this was found at 22 weeks, they also found cists in her head but i opted for the amnio and was given all clear and i was high risk at having a downs baby so i wouldnt be too concerned her heart will function normally and it may go away , try not to worry if everything else is ok be positive the risks are soooooo small i panicked and worried for weeks and ended up unwell .

Hi i am 16+2. I went for a 4d sacn the other day which was great but the sonograher found a calcium mark on babies heart you could see it clearly. Her heart was fine other than that, pumping fine and not pumping any out. She said just to get it followed up at my 20 week scan and she said alot of the time they just dissapear. Well now i am so worried, i heard that it can be a sign of downs. All my downs test came back low risk.

Was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this before and if so could you let me know please.

Midwife is not concerned as i shown the heart scan pics and the write up from the scan she just said wait untill 20 week scan to. She said babies heart sounds fine. Now im just thinking all sorts and have to wait untill the 28th July for scan, i could just scream.
