congrats on all the new babies born xxx
I posted on the facebook group hun - I won't ramble on again here!!!
With Jack i had fluid around baby before i had doppler, yesterday baby showed no sign of fluid but had a problem with doppler, does this mean this could be the start of baby getting sick but not evident on scan. Anyone any ideas?
thanks hun x
Great news. Love the picture too - what a cutie!
congrats to all the new mummys here x
update on alesha she has had the all clear from the hospital now so no more bloods thank god xx
just bumping for someone to read who posted about anti c's. Thanks girls x
Congratulations to both of you. x
Hiya girls, sorry for not posting sooner...... I can't believe how much time flys with a newborn at home, the days are passing so fast.
Charlie was born by section on 10th June at 37 weeks, cord bloods were taken and as predicted he was my blood type so the antibodies did not affect him thank goodness. He was 6lb 6ox and I will add some piccys on here as soon as dh has reduced their size as I currently can't upload them.
Thanx for thinking of me guysx
Gotta go, my little wonderful angel boy is calling for MORE milk so off we go again xx
Congratulations
Glad everything went well for you x
Hiya, sorry havent posted much in my preg as antibodies were very low and never increased so didn't cause any probs just wanted to let you all know that Louis Tristan was born on weds 18th (the day before my bday) weighing 7lb 11oz and is perfect.
He is rhesus pos and some of the blood tests came back pos so has to stay over night but they let us go home for my bday and we went back for more blood tests today. They came back fine as levels are below treatment level so am very happy

Absolutely. It's all the 'what ifs...'
Hannah was born at 34+1. She was in for 3 weeks in all, with another 3 weeks or so of going in every other day for blood tests.
Really frustrating about the giving blood thing though.
Think I'll just concentrate on losing the excess weight for now and try to push the broody feelings to one side!!!
Dont know why it posted twice! Just seen Hannahs first transfusion was 31 weeks - my first one was 28 weeks so if you go by the 4 week rule and you had the same probs you would prob expect the first transfusion at 27/8 weeks and del about 33/34 weeks - That said nothing is text book and I guess thats the hard part - if you knew it was 3 transfusions and then 2 weeks in scbu and then home you would do it but you never know how the antibodies are going to react and thats the hard bt!
Hi - baby Charlie arrived safely - I have seen some photos on facebook and he is gorgeous! Im sure Carla will be on soon to show him off.
You cant give blood - I donated once after Ava and was sent a letter basically saying thanks but no thanks as if the blood was given to someone who later became pregnant there is a potential that they would then have the antibodies etce etc. Very frustrating as I appreciate so much that the blood saved both their lives and would like to donate but can see why they say no.
I was told that with every subsequent baby you should expect symptoms to start approx 4 weeks earlier so would potentially have to deliver 4 weeks earlier. I delivered Ava at 38 weeks and Elsa at 34 weeks so this seems to be true. Personally I couldnt consider having another and possibly delivering at 30 weeks but then Im not sure we would have had more than 2 even if there had been no problems so its not that much of a big deal to me.
I cant remember how far along Hannah was born but I would say if you did have another at least you know what to expect ( not sure if thats a good thing or not lol) and we know that the transfusions work. Difficult decision but if you feel that your family is not complete then I guess it will always feel like that until you go for it!

Just to update all you ladies with anti-c's, Evie Willow Longdon was born last wed 1.10.08 at 3.46 pm weighing a hefty 8lb 7. Phenotyping showed Evie was rh neg and cord blood checks, billirubin x 3 and coombs showed she was indeed rh neg and no haemolytic disease. She has a little jaundice and is being monitored. We so know the consequences if she was her dads blood, but feeling extremely lucky with my high antibodies that fate intervened and dealt us some luck. I never thought i would carry or have another after what i went through with Jack, so hopefully a little bit of hope for ladies out there that might be considering another xxx
