hi im giving up on the g/f diet, all the posts r scaring me. so im gonna try ww points system and c how i get on.goin to start in the morning, who wants to join me?? we can all shift the lbs 2gether. just weigh every thurs? share tips and recipes. saz xxx

    lost 1lb when i got weighed yesterday i did have take away sat and sunday though i also have a huge bag of choc last night so not got to a good start this week need to kick my self back in to being good so im getting back on track now and wont be having any more cheating days untill i go out with my oh and sister and her oh at the end of the month but will try not to go over board i only have 1lb till i have lost a full 2 stone i would have done it by monday if ui hadnt had the take aways i could kick my self   good luck this week girls

    hi how is every1 doin? well done izzy. u must be so pleased. i got weighed on tuesday there and im 12st 8. 2weeks left til my holiday. dreading just piling it back on while on holiday.xxx

    i bought some new clothes yesterday and can now see how much weight i have lost i was wearing clothes that was hanging off me so couldnt tell i got a nice shock when i put some geans and a long top on so im chuffed to bit i get weighed on a monday at home so will keep posting on mondays hope all you girls have  had a good week

    hi girls can i join in i started ww on my own at home 13 weeks ago my start weight was  170lb 2oz /12st 2oz 

    i now weigh 145lb 6oz 10st 5lb 6oz

     so i have about 3 and a half pounds to lose to have lost 2 stone horray i have never done this well before  my next door neighbour goes to classes so we compare each week  do any of you girls have the ww food scales i do and i find them very usfull my neighbour got them from her class for me  well i still have 2stone 5lb and 6oz   which is 33lb 6oz to go and hoping to have lost this by the very latest feb  depends on how good i am at christmas  congrats to all you ladies for losing weight it makes you feel so much better dosnt it im getting married in dont laugh 2012 so want to lose the weight and keep it off for ever no more babys for me i have a little girl 26 months and a little boy 10 months and thats what ive always wanted so dont feel the need for any more altough my other half would like another one but no chance glad i found this thread good look to all of you when you get weighed

    well done - I bet you are really pleased it makes it worthwhile!  I find it becomes a way of life for me hope I can keep it up!  weighed in tues and had lost 3lbs so well pleased.  very close to goal now.  Here are my stats so I can keep track!

    Deb - 7th Jan 08 - 179lbs

    1st Goal 10% - 161lbs - 17/4/8

    Initial Goal - 154lbs - 15/5/8

    Dream Goal - 140lbs

    New FINAL goal - 135lbs

    Current weight - 143lbs 26/8/8

    3lbs to go to dream Goal!

    8lbs to go to New Final Goal!

    hi girls, well weighed on thurs and id lost 2lbs. woohoo. was quite happy with that considering the crap ive ate. so treated myself 2 a couple of drinks on friday nite! wot exercise does every1 do?

    had the nicest tea ever.  Marrow stuffed with cous cous, veg(sugar snap peas, peas and broc), sauce (fresh tomatoes, peppers and white wine, simmered to make a sauce blitzed in blender and then chorizo added) very low in points you need to count the cous cous, peas, white (1 glass in the whole thing so 1 point each as serves 2) chorizo is very low too considering it is so nice but you only need a bit. 

    make the sauce

    peel the marrow

    stuff with cous cous and bake in oven (wrapped in foil) until cooked

    put marrow on plate, add veg and pour over sauce

    Thanks for the tip about the bread at least I know now!

    I have done fairly well this week, apart from having two chocolate truffles (1.5 points each I think) I just love them and we went to a lovely chocolate shop in Seaton yesterday couldn't resist.  I wish there was a Weight Watchers restaurant and it is hard going out and trying to guess the points.  I ordered a ham salad sandwich which I guessed would be about 5 points max, however the sandwich came and the bread was very thick and had a thick layer of butter and the salad had dressing on.  It was lovely to eat but doubled the points.

    For lunch today I have kept it low with 1/2 point soup and 1/2 point bread!

    The four slices of bread came out as 3 because a slice is a little over 0.5 a slice they round the points up or down depending on how much over it is. So one slice is 0.7  so one slice counts as 0.5 but two would be 1.4 so they round it up to 1.5pts for 2 so four slices would give you 3pts.

    I have done ww on my own for ages hun, tried it last year but did the core and ate too much.  made a real effort this year and did the points - it works well if you stick to it!

    butternut squash taste more like swwet potato than potato, it is not really like potatos I just use it to bulk a meal out for 0 points.  DH made a lovely butternut squash soup yesterday and that was lovely and 0 points!

    I am doing WW online - I weighed myself this morning and I am 1lb off my first stone, only another 1 1/2 to go.   I have found it quite easy easpecially where I enjoy cooking, the problems have been when my DH is off and we go out for lunch I always end up with jacket potato and beans or a plain salad as then I can add up the points without any hidden extras that they put in sandwiches so it gets quite boring.  Am dying for a panini and chips!!!

    Just need to ask does Butternut Squash cook and taste like potato?  If not what does it taste like?

    I just added WW bread to the point tracker on-line and put in that I had 4 slices which to me means 2 points but it has come back and said 3 points anyone else found this?

    i love ww yoghurts - the point vary from 1/2 - 1 1/2 it says on each one how much.  I like the fromage frais with fruit on the bottom really tasty!

    hey every1, hope u's r all enjoyin the weekend, any1 do anything nice? we had a couple of drinks lastnite.

    r the ww yoghurts nice?was gonna get some-how many points in 1?

    hubby is off work 2mro so we're takin kids swimming and im gonna go 2 curves aswell. got a new game for the wii yest, cant wait 2get playin it 2day!
