The chemist I had handed my script into had held onto it as I had something else prescribed. I phoned them on saturday and they said they were going to borrow some from another chemist and they'll be ready for me tromorrow But I now know to go to Boots as they have a big supply in. I couldn't get any from my surgery, they said there was a supply problem so I had to go to boots and they had some will need more in 2weeks hope they get this sorted.

I got my partners script the other day and our chemist said the same so luckily there was another chemist nearly mile and a half away (luckily i was in car lol) and went to cash in the script there and luckily they had some boxes left.

The 1st chemist i went to (which is the 1 we always use) said if they aint got none in when he needs his next box, then go back to gp and explain the situation. Maybe thats all we all can do???

If you have transport, get your phone book out and ring around all your chemist which are feesable to get too.

Ive spoken to the helpline and its a delivery fault....????

I managed to get mine from boots yesterday and they said they hadnt heard about the problem but then again they had alot of stock.

Hello. I was prescribed Orlistat today, and went to hand my script into the chemist. They said there has been a manufacturing problem and haven’t had any for 3 weeks, and don’t know when they’ll be getting anymore. Has anyone else had this problem? I was so happy that this might help me lose some of this dreaded weight. Feel gutted.
