I think I've read it before as well. It has something to do with ice cold water bringing down your body temperature and your body needing to work harder to bring your temperature back up.

did any 1 know drinking ice cold water burns more calories than drinking room temp water just read it on internet.
Don't see why not?
Maybe frozen yoghurt or sorbet might be 'better' though?
