yeah like niknoks already said  i think its hard to explain and follow it correctly without the class but its like an eating plan not  diet, you start  off with red/green days to begin with 2 more when you are confidnt with those,on each plan you allow yourslf healthy extras these are taken from a list n your book and are needed for calcium and fibre, you dont have to have them but the plan is made to work by using them, they are called a and b choices, you pick 2 of each per day, again from your book,eg a choices are your milk and cheeses which have to  be weighed and neasured and bs are cereals, breads etc.then there is your free foods to be eaten so decide which day your on and again eat freely i wont go into too many foods as saying pasta, noodles etc are all free would be misleading as some are not,red days you would find yourself eating meat, fish etc.you are allowed 5/15 syns a day too as well as all the above.

here is a typical day that i would have to give you a btter example.

    green day

    A    250ml semi skimmed milk,    A     1oz cheddar cheese

B    2 weetabix                                  B       2 slices thick weigh watchers bread.

    FREE FOODS lunch

,plain boiled pasta, mixed with cucmber, tomatoe, sweetcorn, peppers and celery.

evening meal      quorn mince bolognese served with spagetti.

apples, nectarine, orange and muller yog as snax also as my syns i have had 1 packet of quavers 6 syns and  slices  garlic bread 6 syns,so total syns used 12 for the day.

well hope this helps i really do rcommend a group and say its a fab plan to follow never hungry.x good luck

Hi, there's a lot to go into and as I'm veggie i can only tell you about the 'green' days, but basically there are no portion controls, you can eat unlimited amounts of certain foods, and you'll never be hungry! This diet also allows treats every day, so I was able to have a bit of chocolate and some sugar in my tea still. Fruit and veg are not restricted so you can graze all day long, and on the green days you can fill up on unlimited amounts of rice, pasta, dried noodles, potatoes etc.  And eggs and Quorn are free foods too.t You'd be best off starting at a group for a couple of weeks til you know what you're doing. You get the book and all the info you need at your first meeting. hth
