it is ok AS LONG AS it has been prescribed for them by a doctor. my ds has hayfever, eczema and asthma, and has been on piriton since he was a few months old. he is now 3yrs.

It says over 1 yrs on the bottle as this is what it is licensed for as over the counter medicine. As long as it has been prescribed by a doctoe then its licensed for under1.

Hi,I was prescribed piriton by the hospital before when my daughter had been stung by a waspand she was only 8months old. I think as long as you have been told by a doctor to use it then it is fine, it knocks them out though, she went into a really deep sleep after having it (although it was the evening anyway)

Hey my girl is only 7 mths and seems to have hayfever. the doctor gave me priton solution but they say its only for over 1 year olds and I am a bit worried about giving it to her. Has anyone else given their baby antihistamines this young?
