My ds is 7 months old and can't sit even for a couple of seconds, can't take any weight on his legs and has no teeth. I really would try not to worry. If he's happy then I expect he will do it in his own time. He's probably learning other skills instead.

Personally it doesn't sound like a problem.

If you lo can sit up for a short period but gets distracted, then she simply has better things to do than sit there, especially if she is rolling.

There are a lot of exciting things for a baby to be doing, and if she is rolling about and playing and interacting on a 'normal' scale, then I am sure all is ok.

They all do things at different times, and with all the different influences in family/social life, nobody can determine when a baby will do something.

My ds is nearly 8 months old and is only just getting the hang of sitting up.  He still wobbles and falls over, or just decides he can't be bothered!  My older son was also about 8 months old before he got the hang of it.  I wouldn't worry about it, she'll sit up when she's ready.

Do you have a Bumbo seat? Maybe she needs to just develop the muscle strength in her neck and back. The Bumbo seat will support her back so she doesn't flop and will encourage her to use these muscles. She can sit in it for short periods and then extend the time over a couple of weeks. You could put her in it to play, eat, watch TV etc. HTH

ask your health visitor but i would say dont worry your baby will sit in his/ her own time sorry cant remember what you said  if your baby is happy in walker then let her use it let baby play on tummy my son can sit but not long before he wobble and falls over he just drags his self aroung the room all day and goes in his walker

stop puttin her in walker and bouncer and put her in middle of room surrounded by toys n pillows.

walker encourages them to walk funny so actually takes em longer 2 elarn n she'll b lazy coz shes in bouncer all day.
