Hi purplestars i have spoken to you before on here i am sorry to hear that your lo has quite a few intolerances how was he diagnosed? Zoe definately as milk protein allergy as she was coughing and wheezing before she went dairy free and nutramigen milk and it went instantly she is 20mg of omeprazole also, and domperidone and gaviscon as she has reflux as well but the dairy makes it loads worse. I also think my second youngest as a few problems but as never been diagnosed, she had an allergic reaction to egg her eye swelled up like someone had put a tennis ball under it and she couldn't open her eye and the other eye was also swelling took her to hospital they took her bp but it was unmeasureable due to the allergic reaction they gave her antihistamine which took the swelling down and she was left with a right shiner. She also has 2 hernias a belly button one and an epigastric one a couple of inches above her belly button and she also coughs a lot and suffers from belly ache a lot she is now nearly 6. Zoe is now 16mths. My elder 2 seem fine but they are 12 and 16 so don't know they have all had their own problems all though they aren't as bad as some poor parents have to suffer and i know they have gotten better and will get better, so i have that to be thankful for. Sharon x

that is what george has is slient reflux but he still parts with quite a bit it just falls out of his month this will be the 3rd time we have seen the hosptail but not holding my breath my 2nd son has food intollance milk, egg, wheat, soya, tomatoes  and it took 3.5 years to get him seen to so not holding my breath it would be nice to end the day with out smelling of baby puke but it has been like that for 9.5 months sort of got used to it know he did have rantadine but it did not really work for him so we went on to the hard stuff it is so hard because he is the youngest of 4 but none of my others have had reflux before so it is all new to me we have to say  you are more then welcombe to hold him but if he is sick then i am not doing there washing so please do not drop him

hi i am in a similar boat as you hun, my ds has milk and soya intollerance so tht he cant even have the neocate or nutrmigen formulas as they have soy in them, he seems ok with wheat tho, and bananas, he has some issues with other fruits tho it seems, he also has reflux but it is silent so he isnt tooo vomity, but gets a lot of pain from it, it even makes him spasm sometimes! he is on gaviscon and ranitidine but the ranitidine seems to make him go a bit funny...kinda hyper! so am just giving him gaviscon since last fri which has helped a bit

he is bf and i feel like i will have to bf dor ever!!

we go to hostpital with him on thursday and i am hopng they can help,

he is a little smiler and putting on weight well so hv & dr kinda brush me off as if i am being paranoid or something
