hi, my local independent health food shop sells a range called Sheese! They make a cream cheese spread, a cheddar flavour spread & one with herbs in. They also sell dairy free mozarella amongst others! Happy hunting!!

Wow, that's great to know, I was talking with the in laws today about trying to find some!! I'm going to have to buy some to try it now. For the leaving it open, I'd say don't keep it for longer than 5days, maybe less. If it's just you and your partner eating it, just test it and see how it is, but with children I'm extra cautious!! xx

Hi, I have found a great alternative to cream cheese in Holland & Barratt. It's called Tofutti and is just like the real stuff. I have only tried my lo on the original but the do a galic and herb one too. It has a best before date on it but not a use by once opened. How long do you think?

Anyway it's fab Mia (17 months) loves it wish I had tried it before!! I struggle for sandwich fillers xx
