This is so common in newborns all my 3 had it. Like the previous post suggested pure olive oil is the best thing, not baby lotions as they have additives and perfumes. -

Try using olive oil from superdrug or grapeseed oil from boots as baby oil is synthetic and only sits on top of the skin where as olive oil/grapeseed oil is absobed into the skin my LO had dry skin I used the Boots grapeseed oil (found in baby section) and it has all cleared up now HTH x

pls advice - my 3 wks old boy has dry peelin skin alot on his forehead and stomach only, have tried baby oil and silky liquid talc and johnsons top to toe wash but it only has helped a little, has been like it for 3 days now..anything else i could use? or is it an allergy?
