You poor thing. It's a terrible shock isn't it. Reassure yourself that this episode is over and at least now you are aware and have the Epipen you can be more prepared. My dd is anaphylactic to horses and has had a few episodes each one getting more severe. We didn't know what was causing it at first because there were so many things around and the last time she ended up in hospital she hadn't even been in contact with a horse but a friend had! Anyway, it does take time for the reaction to subside, my dd had 2 black eyes for a week and the facial swelling took a few days to go down completely too. Push your GP/paed for tests to find out if there are any other potential dangers. It does help to give you peace of mind. Take care of yourself as well as your little one x Ps. I have a site alwaysreadthelabel.info that might be of interest to you.
