hi very hard to get good info from a 2 year old but i would keep a pain diary. that is write down every time he says it hurts and what he is doing and how hard it is to distract him from it ect. then you can see if it is very often and if there seems to be something that is causing it.

if by lumpy on inside you mean a bit knock kneed then yes this is normal and should correct itself by 6 years, but if it causes alot of pain this is not normal.

check out page 32 in your birth to 5 book from the hv.

    hope this helps

Hiya, I wonder if anyone can help, my two year old is complaining his knee's are hurting him, when you look at the knee's from the back they are very lumpy on the inside, they are not straight, if you know what i mean they seem to stick out on the inside. Is this normal for little one's while they are a bit chubbly if you know what i mean. Sorry to ramble and prob not make sense but any help would be appreciated, thanks x
