If you ask at the chemist the stuff you get on prescription is white, it is a generic of calpol.

i dont have the paper bit to double check...but i know if you ask the doc for liquid kids paracetamol here you will get Medinol...the para content is exactly the same as calpol
im sure if you ask the doc for an E free kids painkiller they'll have something...and you'll be able to get it on prescription

Nos sure if it has the same E numbers or not but kids ibruprofen has the same efect on temperatures/pain killing - check with heakth visitor but know you can alternate calpol and the kids ibruprofen liquid two hourly though no ideas about e numbers i@m afraid.

I have just figured out today why my daughter occassionally goes super hyper just before bed time - Calpol! Yes I buy the sugar free but never crossed my mind about the E numbers until someone else mentioned that her her lo reacted the same!
Anyone know of another brand which has less or preferably no E numbers that I can try.

Thanks everyone. Got Boots own so it seems to be doing the rrying to nights of full sleep well for DD anyway not me lol....
