We've recently found that our DD has an intolerance to satsumas/oranges. She had ezcema patches come up on the inside of her thighs and small patches on her face (something that hasn't happened for a while now). We've stopped giving them to her now and the flare up seems to have calmed down.

My friends DD had bad eczema and it was caused by any citrus fruit - so she had to avoid them all. Once she got to about 5 it seemed to not be so bad.

Hi there, my lo doesn't react to apple juice but I do have a friend who's lo had eczema until she was 3 yrs old and they allergy tested her and her lo was allergic to apples and slight dairy- but mainly apples and that caused her eczema- once it was out of her diet it went away. She's still susceptible to fruits in general though. hth x
