m lo had thrush too and was given the oral gel , i was also told its a build up of milk so give juice or water after each feed to rinse out the mouth, then apply gel . lo cleared up quite quickly . 

Does this sound like Oral Thrush.  My baby is 13 months old and has thick white patches on the inside of top and bottom lip hasnt got it on his tongue, it started as little white spots but has spread wide now.  He has been crying and restless with it too, although gettiong a bit better and is still eating.

He has had a course of Nystatin medicine but is still there, im wondering wether to try Daktarin oral gel next???
