My dd cried ALL the time & hardly ever slept.  First I was told it was reflux, then a milk intolerance, then I was just told 'babies do cry' !!  In our case, dd was always getting sore ears & throats & on antibiotics every month.  I went to the docs & swore I would not move until they sent me to a specialist who said she needed her tonsils & adenoids out BUT I would have to wait till she was 3 for the GA.  Again I said I would not move till it was done sooner as my lo was obviously sore (& my PND was getting uncontrollable).  I got it done when she was 18 months old & she is now a different child.  I would make sure the docs check for everything & stand your ground with them as you are with your lo more than them & understand more that there IS something wrong.  I believe a lot of the docs use reflux cause it is an easy option.  Rant over !!

Hi hun,I can so sympathise with you,my dd did have bad reflux and lactose intolerance and was on 3 medications and nutramigen milk, she has always been a crier and whiner from day one,so different to my other 2 dds who are now 14 and 18 even though 1 of them had the same medical probs. My dd is now 2 and a half, she was weaned off the meds at 1 year and stopped the milk and a bottle then too.Unfortunately she is still a whiner and a crier and we have come to the conclusion thats just her, wether its just because shes used to doing it now I dont know, but it can really get you down and you find you are at the end of your tether, sometimes she does it from 6am till bed time on and off,as you said ,we love her to bits but we wonder why we put ourselves through it again, think you can only understand it if you have a child like it,your day totally revolves around them and the only time you have is when your head hits the pillow at night.I do hope you get some help and answers. My dd is gorgeous and does have some good days, but I know where you are coming from.Take care.xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Izzy babies don't cry for nothing all the time, something is obviously upsetting him have the docs done any tests to see how bad the reflux is and if he as any allergies that can be upsetting his system, bless. I would have a word with the docs and see what they say, that is if they are any good at all. I have lots of faith......Sharon x
