Hi you can also get duocal which is a fat and sugar powder to add to their normal milk.

i was talking to the dispensary yesterday as she didn't know what milk ds should be on and she was on about neocate active, i asked what the difference was but she didn't know, at least inow know so thanks! the pharmacy have c***ed up his prescription so i'm waiting on a call from them now so i can go and collect his milk, i'll let you know how we go with active if that's what we get!

My DS is 14 months old and pretty tiny at 19lb 3oz and hasn't gained at all in the last 2 months.  He is on neocate milk still due to prematurity, milk intolerance etc.  To try to boost his weight gain his dietician has prescribed him neocate active. 

Has anyone else had this?  He has to have one sachet a day to start with.  He had half today but then didn't have his bedtime milk - boo!   i think maybe I'lll give him it in the morning tomorrow and see if that helps.

Anyone any experience with other supplements for weight gain?
