Take your dp to go and view the nursey with you, it may put his mind at rest. Everyone hears stories like this and unfortunately some are true, but follow your gut instinct when you visit, if the children are happy, the place is noisy and lots of toys, it can't be that bad..... My lo started at nursery when he was 4and a half months (now 10months) and he loves it!

help needed, i am going back to work and found a place for lo in a great nursery but my MIL has now filled my partners head with bad things about nursery ie they leave babies crying and dont give them attention and that LO is such a happy baby now but he wont be at nursery.  She is so behind the times but he listens and takes in everything she says.  He said at one point oh i am staying out of it!!  I went mad at him and told him its his son and for us to decide about nursery etc not his mum or anyone else.

How do i handle this as she is fantastic with LO and great in other ways so i dont want to be falling out with her.
