Hi all,
I posted a few weeks ago, worried and upset about my mum, sister etc all turning up at the hospital when I was in labour against my wishes, my mum was even trying to muscle her way in on the birth! Anyway I went into labour on the 6th, and 55 hours later on the 8th, my daughter Tegan was born.
As predicted my mum, sister, dad etc turned up, my mum and sister were in the waiting room from lunchtime (she was born at 17.55), my dad got there about 4pm.
Luckily for me DF and the midwives kept them at bay, so they never came to my room until an hour and half after she was born, so me and DF had some alone time with her and I had a shower etc.
Still bit mad at them all as I had expressly told them I didn't want them all in the waiting room, like some freak show, but I knew they wouldn't listen. Just thought I'd update all those who replied and helped me when I was so upset and stressed.

TBH, I know you didnt really want them on top of you while you were giving birth, but they obviously love you to bits, and just wanted to show you they were there for you. Its all a bit much though when all you wanted was you and df there. Hopefully they've been forgiven now x
