hello, i had this too, my midwife said it was due to numbness in the area where i'd been pulled about during the section and the scar area was still numb too. She said it was perfectly normal and to remember to go regularly or i could end up with an infection. do get yourself checked out though if it does not improve, good luck x
HI I had my ds2 by section on 21st May and I had this too - i knew I needed to go because my tummy was swollen when my bladder was full and that made me aware of my scar. The sensation of needing to wee is coming back slowly and surely, I mentioned it to my mw before I was discharged and she didnt really give me an answer but when at my 6wk check yesterday my doc sais this is quite common with both section and vaginal deliveries (had thais with ds1 who was vaginal but it only lasted for 2days so forgot) but if sensation has not is is showing no sign or returning by 6wks then it needs investigated. hth hunnie it really frightened me too buthopefully like me it will just be temp for you

Can I suggest you go and see your doctor, not meaning to scare you but I had to same thing, and it turned out they had stitched a section of my bladder to my womb while they were stitching me back up! I ended up having another operation to correct it but unfortunatly things still aren't back to normal and I am having consulations with the hospital regarding what they can do next. If you leave it the problem will get worse so go see your gp asap!
I might also like to note, the hospital have accepted responsibility for what they did during the operation and I am currently going through the courts for a compensation settlement, its nothing more than negligence!
Sounds silly but are you drinking enough to get a full bladder?
Other than that I can't help - I always seemed to need the loo after my section!

Another one who had this, was told it was to do with the numbing agent they put in that area too and nothing to worry about.
