    also, peppermint tea for the wind,and a small pillow to hold over your scar when you sneeze or cough, and to put between you and the seatbelt on the way home. good luck

    I have had one emergency and two elective and I took:

    4 very loose nighties, slippers, big comfy pants and really big sani pads, toiletries for you and a book (you may be waiting for the op a long time).  Clothes to go home in that are again comfy and not too much of a hassle to bend down/stretch to get on.  Enough Clothes for baby for 4-5 days (just in case) along with two packs of nappies and wipes etc,  cuddly warm blanket for baby (the ones in hospital are like cardboard).  Pretty much what you would take for a normal birth but you need more of as you may have a longer stay.  good luck hun

    Hiya girls,

    I'm having my 2nd section end of september & was wondering if there is anyone who could write me a list of what im going to need for me & baby before & afterwards! I had an emergency c-section & can't really remember much of what went on or what i should of had!

    If anyone could help it would be much appreciated! x
