    Hi

I also became pregnant just under 5 months after an Emergency C Section.   There will be 14 months between my two babies.

No problems at the moment . I am currently around 33 weeks pregnant.

    All the best.

i had section 7/11/07 last year and having another one 23/10/08 so just 11.5 mnths i think apart, i wasnt given any advice about waiting to get preg again after section so i never thought about it all. the doctor to told me your body is well healed within a year and there should be no side effects at the end of the day having baby after baby is what your body is designed for!lol doesnt make it any easier tho.... sorry to hear your last pregnancy ended so sadly wishing you lots of luck carrying this baby xx

sorry for your loss and congratulations on bub to be.

i had both my dd's by emcs and they were very close together, the only issue you may find but it is alot later on in the pregnancy is where bub's is growing you can get a sharp pain were the scar is stretching. it really isn't anything to worry about unless the scar starts weeping (which is rare).  other than that i was also offered a vbac and we did try to go down that route but ended up with another cs.. only advice i can give is don't get your heart set on a natural birth but don't rule it out.. go with the flow and any worries concerns go straight to your mw or consultant...hth

good luck hope all goes well for you..

Hi, i am so sorry for your loss. I think i may recognise you from another forum, i am marcusandisla'smummy? I also lost my little girl Isla due to severe pre-eclampsia and i lost Marcus due to a placental abruption. I had Finnlay born safely on 31st may 2007 by c-section, we started TTC when he was 5 months and i found out i was PG at new year. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and having another c-section on 27th august so just under 15 months between c-sections. I have had no problems so far and even got offered to try a VBAC by my consultant, but that will now not happen as baby is breech, just like Finnlay was. Love Emma. xxx

    I have a questionCarrie06

Hi, I had an emergency c-section at the end of Jan this year at 28+6 due to severe pre-eclampsia.  Unfortunately my precious little girl survived for only 6 wks and I am now pregnant again (6+4).  I was advised to wait 6 mths after the section (it was a lower segment) before trying.

I was wondering if anyone has got pregnant this soon after having a section, particularly one at an early gestation.  I was lucky to get away with not having a classical incision so not really sure what the future holds as this baby is due 1st April and if I get to my due date, it will be 14 mths since 1st section.

    Cxx
