    they only seem to be able to do straight scar's when your having an elective as an emcs they are too concerned over getting baby and you safely through the surgery.

    If you have another child and opt for another cs (finger's crossed the surgen is good) but you will have less of the bumpey tissue and they may be able to make the scar straighter... or more tummy like iykwim.

    thanks for the replies. That has put my mind at ease. Just wish the scar was straight. Think the surgeon had too much gin the night before.     : )

    i had this too with both of mine, and as the other poster said it does go, it will take a bit longer it's just part of the healing process.

    aaww congratulations hun!

    Yes i have the same thing.... its just an overlap from where they've stitched/stapled hun but it will go down or disappear. Im having my 4th section in january and ive had this before with my last 3, my scar is perfectly straight now with no  lumps or anythin - till the 4th lol

    hth.... if ur unsure tho, get it checked hun, just to ease ur mind x x

    my lo is 6 months next week and was delivered by emergency c section after 14hours in labour. My scar is healing really well but have noticed a lump on the right hand side above and below scar, there is no pain. Does anyone else have same thing. I think it is scar tissue but unsure. Seeking advice before going to doctors. My first baby and unsure what recovery should be like.
