    Hi I think I remember having an injection the day before as well, might have been something to do with blood clotting?  x and they will measure the tops of your thighs and leg length then give you some white surgical stockings which you will have to wear during op and after for about 4 weeks to prevent DVT. x x

    Hello, for me they did the usual checks, blood pressure, felt belly, listened to heartbeat etc.  They talked me through times to be at the hosp, where to go and what to expect, also they gave me pills to take the night before and in the morning, I think they were for heartburn and info on when to stop eating/drinking.  I also had to have an MRSA swab taken because I had spent a few days at another hospital but I don't think this is normal practise.  I can't remember if they took bloods or not, I don't think they did.

    what can i expect at my pre op? the reason im having a section is baby is breech x
