I don't have experience of a VBAC but of a second section and it went fine. Recovery was a lot quicker. I wanted a VBAC just because I didn't want to have to stay in hospital after having the baby lol that was my main reason. I hated staying in. But I hadn't experienced a long labour ending in a c section before. x

Had my appt. with consultant this morning and he said basically after looking at my notes it's up to me if I want an elective or not...

I had an emergency section with ds (who's 21-months) due to long labour and ds becoming distressed.

The only thing he said was that if I go over (which I did with ds by five days) then they'll look at the options....

I've got another appt. booked and want to be able to have a more definite plan one way or another and wondered what other's experience was of a second section/vbac...
