Well i am home!!! Went in and they said it was highly unlikely they could do it as they have had a couple of emergencies in BUT its not too bad cos they have said they will do my section tomorrow morning (they only normally do them mon, weds and fri) which means i will be first on the list at 9am whereas today i wouldnt have had bubs til about 2pm, at least this way i should be up and moving by the time hubby has to leave at 10pm so it may have actually worked out better. I have got a nytol tablet to take tonight so hopefully will get a good nights sleep for it. Thank you for your messages xxx

i went in on the 3rd aug ( ready for my section on the 4th ) was nill by mouth from midnight. all set on a drip by 6am... was told i was the first on the list.. so get ready for 9am.. i had the babys dad on his way from birmingham.. all my family and friends at there homes waiting for the call ( it was also my cousins birthday on the 4th so she was really excited my baby would be born on her birthday )

sat really cacking my pants with nerves..

9am doctor came in.. we are all set just waiting for the porters to come and get me.

9.15am anithatist comes in.... canceled!!!!! the other anithatist didnt turn up and because of my bmi they have to  have 2... we have 2 do it 2mmrow..

well as u can guess i was... not very happy 2 say the least... sod it i was sooooooo angry.. they said i had 2 stay in hospital for the day.. i said sod off im going home and coming bk later... lucky they let me go and i went bk later on that evening.

on the upside i had my baby boy on the 5th aug and hes lovley so it makes up for them p***ing me about.

but i know wot u mean... hospitals suck!!

Sorry to hear that hun, go 2morrow and just try to keep calm. Hopefully there won't be any emergency sections and they can fit u in. Fingers crossed all goes well.xxxxxxxxxx

poor u bet your really fed up hun! hopefully they will still fit you in if you go tomoz you never know there may be no emergencies tomoz so you may still get it, dot get too upset you might set labour off lol.

They do say tho there may be emergencies but cant you ring and explain your situation?? U might be able to have yours in evening or thursday.....  3 in 1 day?? Thats silly considering elective take all of 30 mins beginning to end - well my last 2 did anyway!

The womens in Liverpool where i had my last elect section did 6 planned sections in one day! Sometimes more!!

i am so f***ing angry!!! i was booked in for my section for tomorrow. just had a call from hospital, saying they want to put my section off til friday as they have had a lady in that has to have her section tomorrow and they can only do 3 in one day. they said i can go down and wait and if labour ward isnt too busy and they dont have any other emergencies they may fit me in later on but will just have to wait and see! i am so angry, i have just taken my ds who is 5 out for dinner and then taken him and all his stuff to my mums and sorted the dog out and now i might even be back home again tomorrow. i have been explaining to my son all day that i will see him with his brother or sister tomorrow afternoon and he is so excited. i was so nervous too and really geared myself up for this
