Hi, I had my 5th section nearly 5weeks ago and i did make a birth plan,i put on mine things similar to below
REGARDING BABY/DELIVERY
#1... i would like the screen dropped to see baby being lifted from me(unable to do so cos of the bar that holds the screen in place was the reply to that)
#2...I do not want the baby to be cleaned up after delivery
#3...i would like to breastfeed asap after delivery
REGARDING OPERATION
#4...i do not to be stapled,i want the bead and collar stitch (which i didnt get!! i got individual stitches)
#5...i do not want any blood drains
#6...i would like the catheter removed asap(it was removed the next day)
The operating staff read my birth plan while preping me and told me what they could do and what they might have to/not have to and what they defo couldnt do,which i thought was very good,i did have a good c-section and would have had more bubs if i wasnt to be sterilised
