been to hospital and ive now got a lump at either side of my scar, doctors didnt seem to worried n said it was probably just scar tissue.

Hi, I too had a lump above my scar, the doctor was concerned it may be a hernia so sent me for a scan. I turned out to be scar tissue around an internal stitch which with time and a bit of massaging has gone completely.

Do get checked out - a scan will show you exactly what is going on in there....

mine started off like that then puss came out of the lump, it was infected, maybey yours needs further treatment, hope your ok hun, you need it with a small baby to care 4. xxxxx hugz

i had the same after my first child although when i mentioned it to the doctor he didn't seem interested and just told me it would go away

in the end my husband made me mention it to a different doctor after six months or so and she sent me strait to hospital for a suspected hernia.

it turned out it was a hernia and it needed an operation to fix it so my advice is to make sure the doctor checks it out fully and if your not happy try a different one!

had my little girl by emergency section 2 weeks ago, wound got infected last week n had to stay in hospital over night, they sent me home on antibiotics, ive also got 2 small holes in my wound, last night lying in bed i felt a small lump just above my scar, midwife came out today and i told her about it, she wants me to go to hospital to get checked out, im going in the morn but just wondered if any1 else has experienced this.
