Im had a 15 week, 20 week, will be having a 28 week and a 34 week scan. Im not sure if they will do a scan right before the section or not. They did when I had my daughter. I will ask when I see my consultant next.

I had scans every 4wks from 28wks to 36wks, then 2wks after that, then on my due date, then again right before my cs? That was with both dd's- DD1 was transverse breech, but DD2 was set to be a VBAC but induction failed so had another cs.

I never had a scan since my 20 wk scan. Not heard of people having scans before sections though

I had to have a scan just before i went into theatre, i think that was because i had placenta praevia and thay wanted to know wether the placenta was at the front or back, and also to check where the head was because he was transverse! x

I didn't have a scan at my 37 week check but it varies between hospitals. Is there a reason you would need another scan? The nearer you are to edd the less they can see anyway. HTH x
