Dependant on consultant as well as when they can fit you in. Mine likes to go from atleast 39 weeks, but they are doing it at 38 weeks and 4 days. I would definately chase it up. I also find it weird they want him to book time off that far in advance! What if you were having a natural delivery? You cant exactly plan that!

i had my section at 39 weeks and 4 days but didn't get my date until i went to my last consultants appointment at 37 weeks. having said that we were still looking at options until then and it took til then to decide i was def having a section. i've been told next time i'll def have a section and so would be iven my date almost immediately. i guess if you know you're having a section they should be able to book you in now

its normally dependant on consultant hun - sections are normally done around week 39 tho, maybe week 38 so u could work it out if you dont get any joy on getting a definite date

how far in advance do you get your date? I have booked my mat leave but DH needs to inform his employer in the next couple of weeks as he has to give 15 weeks notice to get paternity leave plus he wants to book annual leave - do you reckon its worth chasing the date?

Hiya, I knew my date by the time i was 21 weeks pregnant. I had an appointment with my consultant to discuss my options as to whether I would go natural or planned csec and they gave me my date there and then after calling the hospital xxx
