O my gosh Rubyred how di dyou trace all your family??? I was also adopted in 1978, and tbh it doesn't bother me if I never meet my biological family, but Im soooo curious! How did you go about it? I know the name of my birth mother and a few other bits and pieces and my Mum n Dad are open and honest about it all...I just would not know where to begin!

only through social services but may not have records dated so far back. ask them for advice on what to do!

I was adopted back in the late 1970's and have since traced all my biological family. (if anyone wants help tracing theirs i'd be happy to help if i can). I'm having a tricky situation with one family member who was also adopted out and would dearly love to trace, the family don't have too many details on this but have obtained original birth cert is there any way i can find out what his new family named him???
