    hi all,

my me my husband are just fillling in our crb forms to help our friend who is a longterm foster carer. she is in need of support and respite care due to the charge she has having complex needs.

we have experience with these as our children are the same although on a lesser scale.

i have been working part time at a special needs school and has experience with gastrostomy care and various other skills.

i am presuming that the la will be quite happy with this, i am so scared that we will go into this and they will say nah we dont want you.

does anyone here foster complex care or special needs, if so what extra things will be need to prove.

our children are 6 and 3 and are reletivly healthy but both are tube fed.

    jennie
