I like reading sci-fi/fantasy, so I'd like to have a go at writing something along those lines. I am veering towards fantasy at the moment though.

I'll have a go at writing down the first words that come into my head, thanks.

hey there. I write. One suggestion is to get a blank peice of paper and pen and write down words which come in your head. Then look at them and see if any speak to you. Also what type of writting do you want to do. I do si fi, horror, fantasy and personal perspectives.

i would suggest you join a writers forum. they can be very helpful and offer lots of advice and tips to any aspiring and accomplished writer  x

I am thinking of having a go at writing a novel/book etc. and I was wondering if anybody has experience of this. I just need to know a few tips on how to start out. I have plenty of ideas but find it hard to put pen to paper.

Are the software packages for writing any good?/ worth the money?
