Well keen risk takers were James & sirius! I think although the others would of dissaproved but they probably didnt care and wore them with pride!
Or, they wore them to get attention for whatever task they were performing.

Why would the golden bird have to be a phoenix? Fawkes is not a golden bird.
Even if it were a phoenix it doesn't explain just why Sirius and James are wearing matching t-shirts (it would be a bit daft to be wearing 'member of the Ootp and proud of it't-shirts would it not)

Seriously? "To know the future - look to the past " From the trailer, obviously!
I liked it, i want more damnit!! The golden bird would quite clearly have been a Phoenix.
Seriously, i want more, i need more. Seriously!

lola - what do you mean by it doesn't have much bearing?
Are you not intrigued to know how old James and Sirius were at the time? Why the were running from presumably death eaters - so implying the first war was going on.
Think about how at ease both Sirius and James were with the MUGGLE police - considering they are both pure blood. Considering Mr. Weasley who gets over excited about Muggles - and as Diggory calls them 'please-men', it tells us that the wizarding world does not have much to do with the muggle world - yet James and Sirius are in control at every second.
What about the matching golden birds on their shirts? JK doesn't throw away random info like that - there must be a link, a reason as to why they are wearing them and I doubt it is to do with a wizarding rock group.
How old they both are would help to tell us how deep in the Order they were - and how important was their task.
To know the future - look to the past (huh huh can you guess where I am getting that from, if not word for word

Yet again we have to start a new thread. I hope this is the last time. The original from the old forums is in Debates but thought it best to carry on from whwere we left off. At least the May threads are still accessible but I intend to save just in case.
