Feel so sorry for him & his poor family we know what they are going through right now because my son was diagnosed with a deadly rare cancer 8 months ago when he was 15months old. He;s 2yrs old tomorrow and we thank each and every day god lets us be together.

In the news on the weekend, he's doing a new tv series starting filming in August. 13 x 1 hour episodes.
Although they put a bit about his health saying "there's no cure or remission, they are confident he will finish filming the series". Doesn't sound too good

Patrick Swayze and wife Lisa Niemi have renewed their wedding vows, reports claim.
The couple, who have been married for nearly 33 years, exchanged vows in front of a small group of friends at their New Mexico ranch.
The actor is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment in California after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier this year.
A source told Globe magazine: "It was very important to him to express his love and commitment to Lisa. They both mean the world to one another."
Concerns recently grew for the Dirty Dancing star when it emerged that he had put his real estate into a living trust.
An insider added that he faces a tough battle against the disease, saying: "It's deadly serious. Doctors have told him that if or when the cancer spreads to his brain he has two weeks to live." -

Cancer of any kinds is truly awful - i hope we all never have to find out how nasty it can be
I wud luv to think he will make a full recovery but its nasty so i am not optimistic for him.
What a remarkable man he is though ... will be truly missed when he does go (which hopefully will be a while yet!)

My friends poor mum just died from pancreatic cancer - she died within two weeks of the diagnosis. So awful. xxx

I keep thinking of someone i knew that had pancreatic caner. He didn't even know he had it, collapsed at home, was rushed to hospital and died within 24 hrs. Only at autopsy did they find out what had killed him, it was that quick. I really hope Patrick beats this. Good luck man . x x

pancreatic cancer is one of the most fatal ones I think. But I don't know why. I know of 3 people who had it. 2 of them where not cought on time and they doctors gave them 1 month to live. The other one it was cought very early in a routine check and she went to be treated in Houston (USA) and she lasted 18 mths.

Awww pancreatic cancer seems to be a very bad one, by the time they know you have it its usually too late.
Still drool over him on my Dirty Dancing video at times lol, although I couldn't believe how bad he looked on Donnie Darko, he seemed to actually look better on the latest news feeds of him (if thats possible).

Latest news appaear to be that he's not doing too well. He's written a living will and passed all finances over to his wife now, "just in case". It also said that the cancer had spread and he'd had a further op to remove that too.
I know pancreatic cancer is very aggressive from personal experience with a freind, hope Patrick fights this and wins.

Patrick Swayze has had an "excellent" response to treatment, according to Swayze's doctor George Fisher, and now the actor is hoping for the best.
A statement from Swayze and his wife Lisa Neimi, reads, "We're thrilled and grateful for the positive response Patrick has shown towards his treatment. -

As far as I know he is still alive and kicking and his doing another film. My mum is gutted (she is 56), she thinks he is sex on legs.
