agree with all already said, storyline just didnt work. When Maria didnt turn up for work 2 days in a row, all Audrey did was moan about how much trouble she was going to be in...like  it didn't occur to her that at 30 weeks pregnant there may have been some sort of emergency??? especially seeing as she hadnt gone home that night? I was shouting at the tv JUST TELL HIM!!!!!!! I also thought Maria lacked emotion. Having said that I still watched it with tears streaming down my face for all the ladies who have had to go through this.

Horrendously done by corrie IMO. I'm 32 weeks pg & wasn;t going to watch it, but I did & I didn't really get most of the storyline..... I don't think I wouldn't tel my df if my baby had died, I'd want his support.

Also, Maria was in a tight top when she went to Audreys. So how the hell did Audrey not notice that she had no bump at all!! I'd have sensed something not right as soon as I saw her sat on the floor wth her knees to her chest. I couldn't get my knees that far up if my life depended on it..... Bloody stupid if you ask me!

I think they've used the stillborn storyline as a massive stepping stone to Liam leaving the soap.....

I've never experienced a loss, but have had friends that have. They've definately not researched it lke they should have done..... Tut tut Corrie....

I honestly thought it was not true to life.

I had a stillborn baby...and I would not have sat there in silence and let my OH blether on about how much he was looking forward to it......it's just cruel.

And when Maria went to Audrey's...she was crying about Liam staying at Carla's and I was thinking 'wtf...don't you have more important things to worry about????'

Disappointed with the scriptwriting tbh. Emmerdale done a much better heartbreaking story. (Although the subsequent baby swap story wasn't good)

glad i am not the only one who thought it was poor acting, i have been though it myself and it was so poor.

It continues till 9th may that is the baby's funeral

i thought the acting was very poor, samia (maria) has no children so she didn't act it out very well. unlike laurel and ashley in emmerdale...that broke my heart, the acting was excellent though, maybe because they have children in real life???

Mmmmm watched it last night and I'm not too sure about the acting or the storyline.  I suppose Maria was in shock so wasnt showing much grief.  But surely when Liam was talking to the baby she would have stopped him??? I know I would. Seemed a bit sick really..

I saw this in one of the tv magazines. I think she's supposed to be around 30wks, but i'm not sure as i don't watch corrie anymore. I know i couldn't watch it, i've had a stillborn baby & it would be too upsetting to watch it.

I will not be watching it as I had a delayed miscarriage last wk. I only found out at my 12wk scan that my baby had died at 9wks, so feelings are still very raw.
