hollyoaks pub landlord jack osborne takes the biggest risk of his life when he fakes his own death to secure his family's financial future.

jack - played by james mckenna - is forced to take drastic action when his mounting debts become ever more crippling. in an attempt to free his family from ongoing financial pressures, he attempts to take his own life so his family can cash in on his life insurance.

however, when his son darren (ashley taylor dawson) catches him at his darkest moment, they're forced to search for another way to end their financial misery.

a hollyoaks source told ds: "jack's at an all-time low and the finding of a dead body is too good an opportunity for him and darren to pass up.

"they swap the dead man's identity with jack's, forcing jack to slope off into the night. darren's then left with the formidable task of telling step-mum frankie (helen pearson) of the 'death'.

"as darren's tangled web of lies continues to grow, he's left in an extremely tricky position when he learns that kris (gerard mccarthy) and brother malachy (glen wallace) are searching for their father. it's only then that darren discovers the true identity of the corpse."

they added: "will darren be able to keep his cool, or will he crack under the pressure? it's only when jack turns up at his own funeral that darren realises that the situation has truly spiraled out of control."

elliot sets up the comic fayre in the su bar, but it's a bit of a non-starter as people fail to turn up to run their stalls. and the fact that sarah hasn't shown up only ruins his day even more, although he won't admit it. hannah can see elliot's upset and helps him out. watching them work together, zak thinks they would make the perfect couple and does a bit of matchmaking. sarah's gutted when zak tells her elliot and hannah are getting close but hides her feelings. zoe can see she really likes elliot and encourages her to tell him exactly how she feels. sarah hurries over to see elliot but feels she's missed her chance when catching elliot and hannah in a compromising position.
elliot's determined to find out why sarah never made an appearance yesterday, and even some friendly ribbing from zak won't dissuade him. hannah also asks sarah why she didn't make it to the fayre, unaware that she saw what she thought was hannah and elliot kissing. zak attempts to persuade a reluctant elliot to partner him in a 'king pong' tournament in the su, however, he's caught up in a love triangle with hannah and sarah and not entirely focused on the game. facing up to his responsibilities, he tells a bemused hannah they can only be friends as his heart belongs to another. intuitive hannah beseeches sarah to do something about elliot, insisting if she never tries she'll never know if it could work. gilly, rhys and josh arrive at the su and relish the thought of playing zak and ellliot in the final of king pong. as the competition is about to begin, a psyched up sarah halts play and confesses her true feelings to elliot, leaving a gutted rhys to stand by, open mouthed and watch in disbelief as the geek finally gets his girl...

- malachy turns his charms to mandy, but is knocked back. mandy is fining it hard running mobs.
- amy attempts to defend herself when mike and sarah realise that this isn't the first time ste has hit her

- tina and dom clash more, and seeing her chance to comfort baby max breast feeds him. she feels a huge surge of love for the child. (myra was supposed to be babysitting.)
- ste wakes up in hospital, alive, but has a broken leg. kieron his the only friend he has left, and nearly pushes him away until he realises he needs him.
- amy tells ste it's over for good and returns to the barnes'.
- jacqui is still feeling envious of mandy's 'perfect mother' image. but the pair end up arranging a night out with steph and get on okay.
- calvin cannot bear loosing sasha, his world is crushed... more so when sasha turned into the police station and ignores calvin...
- ste's dicharged, justin tries to help, he refuses, alone with no one after amy picks her things up, with the help of sarah and zoe... ste cling alone to leah's teddy self hating...
-when jaqui needs her families help to look after the baby, no one can help feed the baby, tina offers to help jaqui... he thanks tina for managing to settle baby max.. unaware tina has once again breast fed the baby...
- sasha is locked in a her room, valarie takes a harsh view and makes sure she is kept locked away for her own good.
- sasha smashes glass in fury when her bid to escape is rummbled by valerie's harshness.
- calvin see's the glass as sasha's attempt to commit suicide.
-calvin buys herion for sasha to take after he feels bad for her.
-josh is furious with ste for his assault on amy and confides in gilly how much he despises him.
- homeless justin moves in with leila at the halls. leaving her delighted.
- gilly and josh tell ste that neville is now the new landlord of the flat, and will put the rent up.
- justin lets leila down and moves in with ste, as the pair join forces.

edit: here a bit more... lauren becomes further away from her family, as she carries on being ignored... her success is not enough to attention, and even a meal for lauren see's only two of her family turn up..... she become more alone...


this was complicated so here's how the whole sarah and elliot get together happens...

- elliot and hannah help sarah out at mobs as cindy texts mandy to say she can't make it. hannah and elliot are enjoying themselves in their banana costumes and sarah surprises herself by feeling jealous of their closeness. hannah gives elliot advice on wooing sarah and even bigs elliot up to sarah herself. after a series of unsuccessful attempts, elliot gives up on trying to win sarah's affection and asks hannah if she'll go to the comic fayre with him tomorrow. hannah agrees and both are oblivious as sarah's jealousy burns.

TINAS BABY IS GOING TO BE A BOY AND SHE CALLS HIM MAX. TINA OVER HEARS TONY SAYING TO MANDY THAT HE DOENT KNOW IF HE S IN THE RITE RELATIONSHIP WITH JACKIE, SO TINA PANICKS AND THINKS ABOUT GIVING BABY UP FOR ADOPTION. SHE CONFIDES IN NIALL AND THEN HE OUSHES HER DOWN THE STAIRS...

well the only one i know is the baby plot...  niall pushes over tina and she goes into early labour where theres complications and she has a histerectomy...  does she hand over the baby???

i hear not... 

i also heard that mandy hands over tom to tony and tina cos she wont be able to look after him and her own baby...
