Something needs to be done about these kids who think its hard to carry knives and use them,it isnt hard it isnt clever,3 yrs ago my 16 yr old sons mate was stabbed to death right outside my front door and we all witnessed it,it is something that we will never get over seeing and it was done by a "mate" to much drink! atahe shops have stopped selling alcohol to under 30's round here now but it isnt enough kids still carry weapons on them and its time the government started listening and stopping this kind of mindless violence.

I feel for the family too.  My oldest is 14  almost 15 and everytime he wants to go out to the cinema with his friends my heart falls in my mouth because until hes home I sit there worrying.  Were south east london too which is where the latest speight of knife crime has been.

here here.i dont feel safe round her anymore, i worry so much about my little girl, how can you compete against half wit thugs who dont care who they start on.im glad i wernt in shillis that night,that place is always attracting the lowest of the low and if trouble was sensed the club should have got police to just patrol the area to act as a deterrant.3 teen murders and various other 1s in the space of a year.send them all to boot camp,thatl make them realise theyre not gangsters who own n7 just pathetic little boys thinking they are above the law.id like to be there 2nite as a lot of people who know his family who i know will be there but sadly i cant make it.i didnt know they boy personally but as a local kid it hit me a lot.lets hope these monsters get life,if not theres going to be a lot of people ready for them. you see these killings on the news all the time and you never think-- well you hope that they will never happen to some1 you kno let alone right on your doorstep

i do feel safe here but to kno that a friends little brother was killed just around the corner from where i live and bring up my children is chilling

im 23 and have always kind of felt that as i grew up here and know alot of ppl around here that i am kind of safe but ben has soo many friends and knew soo many ppl and yet it still happened to him

are we safe anywhere anymore?

i went to nursery with brooke and her sister jade and im still good friends with jade the whole family are being extremely brave

i cannot imagine being tole one of your children is dead let alone murdered its heart breaking

i went on tuesday to lay some flowers down where he was killed and it was amazing!!

the pavement is covered in msgs written in permanent marker there is a huge msg spray painted on the wall, theres a sheet sith msgs, banners, football shirts-scarves-hats, school blazers, bottles of alcohol with msgs on them, and it is in no way of and exaggeration wen i say well on the way to being 100 bouquets of flowers and many cards and candles

the march on tuesday was a huge success and at 2.00am on sunday morning myself and many more will be paying our respects at the spot where he was killed at a memorial 

ben was truely an angel who i believe was only ment to be here for a short time i believe he was just passing through he made a mark on so many ppls lives soo soo young and is now in a better place heres hoping his death was not in vain

shes done really well, that familys strength is amazing. i cant even imagine how they are feeling.this happened 5mins away from me and is frightening- 3rd teen killed round here in a year!!! if her fame and that of our other tv soap stars can be used to make our kids just that little bit safer then something positive can come out of this tradgedy. and i hope the thugs who did it get a very hard time in prision!!!

she has appeared on a few things last few days, gmtv, richard and judy, and i do have to say i admire her strength and agree what she is saying.  i loved the quote on gmtv "if these kids want to play with knives, send them off to national service,"

Did anyone else see her and Linda Robson on R & J tonight, so sad made me feel very tearful esp now I'm a mum. He had such a promising future and that's all been taken away from him. Good on Brook for taking things into her own hands and publicising why this knife crime needs to end. Did it really take a semi-celebrity to launch this type of campaign though???
