i love patrick swayze and i think we should all hold out hope and luck for him, so come on all those dirty dancing lovers send him loads of luck and love

Some publications only care about sell more numbers.  They don't care who they hurt or if what they print is completely real.  One of those publications in this country is News of the World.

They don't care if people sue them and they have to pay them money because the extra numbers they sell for publishing stories that are not true is even bigger than the money they have to pay out.

OMG I cant believe the press make stories like that up, its sick! Sorry for my OP xx

Saturday 29th November 2008: Hello everyone,

The Official Fan Club has received a lovely message from Patrick's wife, Lisa. She is happy to say that Patrick is NOT saying goodbye to anyone just yet!! Patrick is still considered to have a minimal amount of disease and Lisa urges everyone not to believe what is printed in the less responsible press.

Lisa says: "Thank you and everyone for caring. As it's been said before, we believe all good and positive thoughts and prayers make a difference. God knows we need that positivity to battle the horribly negative reporting that can happen out there!"

So please continue to send all your love, light, positive thoughts and prayers to Patrick and Lisa. They do make a difference!

It is a terrible illness, and it happened to my mother at the same age as him 59.  I am just terrified.

Patrick Swayze is a legend for Dirty Dancing alone not to mention all the other films he has done.  It's so sad!
