how sad is that and i think  the media should leave him alone now,thats what cancer does to you and they should leave hima lone poor thing,so sad

It really is such a sad story. But I was looking at a picture of him earlier on today on Sky.com and he was looking so much better! Great to se! He's obviously a fighter!!

You can still see its him even looking so frail, bless him...I hope he has a comfortable and happy life for as long as he has left.

I dont agree actually that he does'nt resemble the old patrick.if you look closely you can still see it is him,he is no doubt about it a shadow of his former self but when you look at the distant photo's of him,you can definatley see it is the gorgeous patrick.

What such a shame it is tho that this terrible disease is still taking so many peoples life's.i wish him well and my thoughts and prays are with him especially and his family.lets just try rememeber the old gorgeous dirty dancing star he was.i think thats how we will all rememeber him.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Good luck my fella xxx

I think my hormones must be playing up, because that article has made me cry!  When you see the photo of him when he was in Dirty Dancing, it's horrendous to see what this evil disease does to people!  My sil passed away with breast cancer when she was 32 and I'm pleased to say she looked relatively healthy til the end, you could hardly tell anyhing was wrong with her!  It would've been so much harder to see her wasting away lik Patrick Swayze is.  My heart goes out to his poor family

When you look at the pics of how he was and now, there's just no resemblance, and that is so sad, He doesn't even have  the same features. He's changed beyond recognition. My heart goes out to him and i fell so sorry for his wife as she's watching this deterioration happen before her eyes.

I have just found this (sorry if this has been posted already) He is almost unrecognisable, I knew he had cancer but this was such a shock, feel so sorry for the guy and his family.
