hey hunz im a hairdresser so hpe i cn help if ur hair iz ur natural colour ther shudnt be no probz in avin a full head col bt if itz gt previous dy on it it wil b alot quiker and alot kinder 2 ur hair if u have a full head ov high lights. hpe tha help hun x

Thanks for the advice.. I thought it would be regarding highlights and gradually over time..

Only thing im worried about is that if i have a full head of highlights, that the bottom all merges into one blondE colour-iykwim??

If highlights are what i have to do then i will ask for them to be as stripey as poss, so they are defined..

yeah i agree, i have medium brown hair naturally and have full head blonde highlights.  i have three differnt shades one of them being almost whie blonde and it took a few times to achieve the colour i wanted on hairdressers advice i went a shade or two darker than i original wanted to stop my hair going a funny colour as the natural colour sometimes needs 'lifting'  first and upped gradually to the shade you desire.

i think it would be easier to get the colour you want by going for full head high lights and asking them to do them finely you wont have much of your normal colour left and its easier to hide any off colour bits. it is hard to get the colour all even when going from brown to very light blonde at once

I have dark brown, below the shoulders hair and fancy a huge change..

Im going to the Hairdressers on thursday, but would like some opinions first..

I would preferable like to go blonde-like light blonde-almost platinum.... But am unsure what will be easier for the hairdresser-either full hair colour or half/full head highlights?

What do you think i should do?
