I agree the right bra does wonders for your shape. Never go to M&S for a fitting. If you can afford it go to a specialist bra shop and get properly fitted. Someone who can properly fit bras will probably not even need to measure you - they can tell by looking at you! The woman I go to says you can look about 2 stone lighter with the right bra too. Triumph are the best. My mum went and she was wearing a 38DD, she is actually a 34F!!! SHe was mortified!

***>i never realised so many people feel like i do! i get so embarrassed about my shape...or shapelessness! my friend who has had 3 babies (i've also got 3) is a size 8/10 and is a 34d and only wears soft sports bras but looks great...i am size 10/12 and 34d but hugely saggy and need to wear gel bras to look anything like decent!

i don't suppose mine could get fixed on the nhs...but then my gp is a lady a couple of years older than me and she has a great figure, and obviously feels it is important to look good so i never know til i try

an older friend of mine who also has 3 kids but the youngest is 15 said you do regain a bit of pertness eventually but never back to how it was. i'm still bf atm anyway...
there's a tip tho - until you get your boob job: gel bras! i was at a party and a close friend who i hadn't seen for a couple of months commented on my weight loss (she has children the same age as mine) and said something about my good shape up top - i had to tell her it was all gel!
loli hope you get what you need

I know someone who got it done on NHS and they had to see a psychologist first?! Its not easy. Also when they got the op - they were in a ward where people were have reconstructive surgery and the girl was made to feel like crap because hers was cosmetic more or less.

I havent had it done hun but i know two people who have had dealings with NHS for this reason,
One person i know had hers done on the NHS because she was anoxeric and they dissapeared,to be honest i dont really see why they gave it to her, its almost like rewarding an eating disorder rather than helping her.
And my other friend had one boob an a cup and the other a C so went to drs to get them done and they said yes, then no, then yes then no, really messed her about unfairly in my opinion. so she ended up paying for them herself.
It is worth checking with dr as i know its horrible, it really knocks ur confindence and stuff but be warned its not easy and my 2nd friend really went to hell and back emotionally, it nearly broke her.
Good luck and keep us posted

Hi - I just wanted to say that I feel exactly the same as you and have decided that I definitely want a boob job. I've been self-conscious of my ridiculously flat chest for as long as I can remember, and it's worse after 2 kids. I went to see my doctor and it's not available on the nhs in my area, so I did some research and have found my surgeon. Just need the money now, and am not sure how the hell I'm going to get it!
To be honest though, the more i think about it the more I'd feel guilty if I did get it on the nhs. Ok it definitely affects me emotionally, I can't even go swimming, but it's not life-threatening, so I think I should pay. Just need to win the lottery! I have started saving but at this rate it's going to take years!
Something to think about is whether you are planning on more kids. I probably won't be having any more as my husband left me a few months ago. Just incase I ever have another with someone else though, (who knows what's around the corner) I wouldn't want to ruin my chances of breastfeeding so I talked about this with the surgeon I have chosen and he has recommended having the incisions under the breast so that I could still feed.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
