hi there im a beauty therapist and bleeding and bruising on your bikini line is usually due to the skin not being stretched and surported whilst being waxed. a professional job in a salon is a good idea , but as long as you stretch the skin and pull the hair off in the oppistte direction you should be fine x hope this helps

I would go to a salon I did it at home once and ended up with it bleeding and brusied lol.
Its cheaper an quicker if you get it done at a salon aswell and they will always do a better job.

I would def recommend a professional wax, it's not that bad!! Me and my sister once waxed my brother's back with cold wax strips and made a total mess! x

Would anyone recommend these or would you suggest a professional waxing instead. I am always nervous of this but really want to get it done before my hols on 14th October.
If you have tried and liked at home bikini waxing, can you please suggest which brand is best?
Thanks!

Thanks for your replies...is it too late to get it done now before my holiday? I'm such a wimp, I should have just gone for it and now I'm worried I've left it too late as I won't be able to go until Monday and I leave for Tenerife on Tuesday...
