We both get on with his boss quite well and so he has said that he can take me out to dinner on the company so will be making the most of that! I didnt realise they were going to start the sales so soon maybe best buy tomorrow then.
I cant believe it you only have just over a week till you fly bet you are excited! my bm has just told me she is preggas ! luckily by sisters dress is a size to big so if i swap them over we should be ok with her growing etc. im really pleased as she had pcos was worried she would conceive!

Next have some lovely stuff so I am sure you will be ok there! Although may be better to get it sooner rather than latter though, because I am sure their sale starts the day we go (19th July) so they may get rid of a lot of their summer things!! I bought the bridesmaid dresses about March time, and DD2s was a bit big, but luckily now it fits her perfectly!!
What a shame DP will be away on your birthday, make sure he treats you to lunch or something to make up for it when you go suit shopping tomorrow!!

That sounds nice the girls dresses are so pretty as well. I think next have a nice linen beige suit will have to look i didnt want to buy too soon as he grows so quick he is already 92-93cm. my df surprised me yesterday and said he might be taking friday off to go and look for suits and would i come with him - colour blind so he wouldnt know what colours things were. i suppose cause he feels guilty as he has to work away next week on my b-day een though i said to him i dont mind really as he would have been at work all day n e way x

Oh my god! I feel sick now, better not be any spiders in our PC, I won't be online again, ever!! Am sat here looking at it, wondering...................still its not so noisy today and a bit quicker, so maybe it was just a funny 5 minutes!!!
Still stuck on my something blue, don't really fancy wearing a garter, be hot enough as it is!! Think I am going to leave it till we get out there, maybe get DP (oooh, just thought, will have to write DH soon!!) to buy me some jewellery!!
My 2 girls are wearing really light bridesmaid dresses, so hopefully they won't be too hot. Tricky for a little boy though, (i think you said DS, I got interupted by the phone!) what about a short sleeved shirt, and some light coloured trousers??

hope ur pc is alright i remember when my parents went like that they sent it off to have it fixed guess what was inside? a huge spider with its nest urgh!!
The blue could you wear blue nail polish or are you wearing sandal type shoes the no one could see? Or your garter most of those have blue ribbons on I managed to find a pink one so goes with the dress. Have u got any bm's or page boys? What did you get your 2 year old to wear? Im not sure what to get ds as will be warm so dont want him uncomfortable but at the same time want him to look smart for the wedding.

I wanted a chiffon type dress, mine is satin, so i probably will melt, lol!!! And yours sounds lovely too, its nice to have something a bit different with pink embroidery, mine is very similar to loads of others I've seen, so I'm a bit common, lol!! Good luck with your fitting!
I am pretty sure my hairdresser is English, so no language barrier!! I haven't been able to get on Facebook yet, my pc is going soooooooo slooooooow at the moment it is driving me mad, has taken ages just to load up this page, hopefully there isn't anything major wrong with it, it seems very noisy at the moment tho!!
I have already got my underwear for the wedding, so can't get blue, and don't have my tongue pierced, so can't follow along those lines either!! My new is my dress, my borrowed is my sister's tiara (not sure if that is a bad omen though because she and her husband are currently separated!!) and my old is my late grandmothers wedding ring.
Right PC is being a nightmare, have to switch it off, hopefully will be back on again later!!

Dress sounds lovely after i brought mine i saw some lovely ones in bhs and at bluewater they have opened a new bridal shop with lots of dresses made for going abroad- I brought mine in a local bridal shop made of chiffon so not too heay will get some pic as my first fitting this saturday so can post before you go. It has bits of pink embroidery on it as well so a littlw different. I have paid the shop to pack into my hand luggage cause im not that great at packing.
Im sure the hairdressers out there will be able to do the curls for you if you show them the picture you might even find that they are english i know the one i will be using is. I have posted a picture of a style i was thinking about facebook in the bounty weddings group if you get a chance to have a look. The blond one on there with the french twist is what i had in mind for the bm's.
i thought for some blue that either have blue underwear or as i have my tongue pierced maybe a blue bar. What about the other stuff was struggling with the something old was going to borrow some of my mums jewellery but dont want it to clash with mine!

Your hen do sounds cool, I was all set not to do anything at all to be honest, so a meal was a major thing for me! I am happy to go on anyone else's but didn't want all the fuss for me!!
I got my dress in BHS (!!) it is strapless, with a ruched bodice. I was going to go for a knee length dress, but decided on full length once I had tried this one on!! I don't have any piccies yet, but will post on my return!! Where did you get your dress? and how are you packing it?
I had a hair trial with my own hairdresser last week, before we went I wasn't sure how to have it, as I have been growing it long but thought about having it up. She curled it with her GHDs and it looked really nice down with my sister's tiara (my something borrowed!) But as soon as she held the back up to start putting it up, I said 'Oh no, i don't like it up!!' So the decision was made, nice and easy for a change!! I just hope the hairdresser in Rhodes will be able to do the same curls! What about you, have you decided on your hair yet?
And what have you got for your something blue? I can't think of anything, might end up going for a tiny bit of blue ribbon sewn into my dress!!

dp has a big family hence so many people coming. I have a few friends who have said that they can come surprisingly they are leaving their partners at home as want a girlz weekend. For my hen we are just going to the local comedy club which should be a laugh about 15 people coming so far. The theme is barbie girl so out come the blond wigs and pink dresses but blond is soooo not my colour.
Yours sounded great im like you i wouldnt want the banners and strippers. what style of dress did you go for and how you having your hair do u have n e piccies?

55 guests!! Wow, we have both got quite small families, and only a couple of friends coming, but we only wanted a small do anyway, so its quite nice!
I am dreading the flight, our 2 year old doesn't like to sit still for long, and she has just got into the terrible twos big time!! I don't think they have soft play at Bristol airport.
I had a sort of hen do last Friday night, I went out with a few girls from work for a meal. I hate being centre of attention and I didn't want a typical hen do with L plates and strippers etc., and they did me proud!! I had a couple of balloons, and a tiny red prefect badge that said 'bride'. I didn't even have a hangover on Saturday which is a first for me!!! (A few of the others did though, lol!!)
We won't really have time to have a hen or stag do when we are away, because everyone else doesn't get there till the Saturday night, and the wedding is on the Monday. We can't both go out on the Sunday night, because of the kids, so we will probably all go out together!! (might be able to leave the kids with the grandparents, lol!!) What about you, have you got anything arranged??
i've just been to my mums and tried my dress on the final time, and it still fits!! I had been paranoid that I had put on weight and that it wouldn't do up!! I feel soooo relieved!!

We have 55 guests for ours but like you everyone is coming out for the 2nd week some just for the weekend of the wedding. I think only 2 people are ocming out the first week but think thats quite nice as we will get to have a bit f a holiday first.
Dreading the plane part this time as when we went before with ds he wasnt into walking all that much but this time bet he will be bored as you say lots of toys in the hand luggage also in gatwick they have a small soft play area where he can run around an hour before we take off hoping that will knacker him out!!
Did you do n e thing for your hen night or are u having something while you are out there. x

Those last few weeks will fly by believe me!! Time seems to be going sooo quickly, and I keep remembering things I have got to do!! I think I need to start writing some lists!!
My dress isn't too big, so I will be packing it in a case with all the wedding stuff, my mum is going to help, and she has got loads of tissue paper, so hopefully it will be ok! I was going to take it as hand luggage, but as we are travelling with our 2 children (2 & 6) I need all the hand luggage space I can get for toys etc to keep them occupied and quiet on the plane, lol!!
There will be 17 of us going altogether, although most of the guests don't come out till our 2nd week as we aren't getting married till the 2nd Monday, 3 weeks today!!!
What about you, have you got many guests? Where is it you are getting married again? I am sure I have read your previous posts, but can't remember a thing at the moment!!

ooh how exciting- bet you are looking forward to the holiday as well- like previous post said the heat is different than here so we should be ok. Mine isnt until 19thseptember but im sure these last couple of months will fly past esp as we fly out at the beginning of sept.
Did you get someone to pack your dress for you or are you doing it yourself? Have you got many guests coming out with you?

Only just seen your post! We are getting married on 28th July, 3 weeks tomorrow, eeek!!
We fly on 19th July, can't wait, got suitcases from mil today, so can think about packing too!!

Remember the heat in Greece is lightly different then over here, even though it is technicaly hotter, it is alot dryer so it doesn't feel as close as it does here. We were in Zante when it was 42 degrees and it is heaven compared to Florida where it is only 30 but a million times more humid.
Remember to use a mattifying make up too.
Good luck and if you worry think of how the photos are going to look.

Excited, and stressed, lol!! Got tons of things to do, and not enough time, am sure everything will fall into place though!
Congrats to your BM, how brilliant, and at least you can swap her dress, so no problems there. Hopefully, she won't grow too much though, its not that long till you get married is it?
